Today my outing with Graham involves walking along the beach and listen to him say how great of a king he is; rather boring.

"Ready?" Graham asks meeting me in the grand hall.

"I guess." I sigh, hinting that I'm not excited for our outing. he offers me his arm, and I oblige hesitantly. We walk in silence the whole way down to the beach. If he starts to go on about how he is superior over me, I will slap him into his carriage and send him away.

"My beach is a lot bigger than this one." He complains.

"I'm sorry that our beach doesn't accommodate to your liking and needs, Sir Graham. But it is rather comfortable for me, and a nice escape when needed." I roll my eyes.

"If you wed to me, you would have a grander beach, palace, land." He smiles.

"But you would keep me in the palace, unless I am with you, Sir Graham. You wouldn't let me be free." I remind him.

He scoffs, "That is true, you are to be a dutiful wife, serving me hand and foot, my dear Regina. That is what a female is good for. Anyway, enough about the future; I am going to tell you about my triumphs."

As he goes on about the wars he won and how he saved his people from god who knows what, my mind kept wandering off. I kept thinking about Robin; I felt free yesterday, I felt safe. Robin is kind, generous, open minded. I have never met a man with morals like him. His eyes are soft, his smile is contagious. I don't know what I am going to do, I don't want to wed any of them - at least not yet. I want to fall in love, be swept off my feet, I want to be on cloud nine.

"What do you think?" Graham startles me out of my head.

"I think you're full of yourself, an arrogant dictator, instead of a king. I think you need a big wake up call. I don't like you, stop wasting both of our times and go home. All you talk about is yourself, which is highly annoying. You think you can posses a woman, when we are human as much a you are!" I storm off and back to the castle. I make my way to me bed chamber, when I feel a gentle hand grab me and turn me around.

"Are you okay, love?" Robin asks with sincerity in his voice.

"I'm fine, thank you. If you'll excuse me, I am going too my bed chamber." I snob off, I regret instantly being rude to him; but I'm tired of people belittling me, and trying make me less than what they are.

"Okay, I'm sorry if I over stepped. But, you looked like you were going to rip some hearts out." He whispers.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap. Graham was getting on my last nerve. You didn't over step anything." I say quickly.

"What was he doing?" he inquires.

"He kept talking about himself and saying that if I were to wed him, that I pretty much couldn't be free." I complain.

"What do you mean by free?"

"I wouldn't be allowed to go outside the castle without him next to me, and I wouldn't be able to read, ride. That I'd have to wait on him hand and foot." I roll my eyes.

"He's a tosser, love. Don't listen to him. You're not going to chose him anyway." He states.

"To be honest, I don't want to chose anyone. I don't want to wed, I want to be independent." I  look at him and see he's a little hurt by what I said, "I just want to fall in love by my will, I don't like being forced into things."

"I know how you feel. There was this beautiful commoner in the village that I cared for, deeply. I asked countless of times for courtship, but I got denied because it is not allowed to love a peasant." He says with pain in his tone.

"I'm sorry Robin." Is all I could say, so I bring him into a comforting hug. We stay like this in what seems forever, my heart is fluttering; his pine scent fills my nostrils and warms my insides. We separate, but still holding each other gazing into each other's eyes without saying anything. I bite my lip blushing slightly. He smiles and kisses my cheek softly.

"I'll see you at dinner." He whispers in my ear.

"Yes you will." I smile. We go our separate ways and I walk back to my chamber with a big smile, until I find mother snooping, "Mother, can I help you?"

"I heard that you snapped at King Graham, and sent him back to his palace." She replies.

"Yes, he was wasting my time with his arrogance. I did not like his stipulations of being his wife. I have narrowed down my choices down to two."

"Wouldn't it be three?" She asks.

"Nope, I've downed it to Robin and Jefferson. Even though I haven't met with Jefferson."

"What happened to Leopold?"

"He's too old for me, his daughter could be my sister!" I say in disgust.

"So? He has the money we need to sustain our villages."

"So does Robin, and he's only two years older than me, he's good looking, kind, generous, caring. I could go on about him. I like him, I chose him. I want to marry him more than the other three." I say

"So you've decided." Mother states.

"I guess so."

"Tomorrow we will announce your choosing. I wish you would've went with Leopold, Regina. You're making a bad decision." She discerns.

"I don't think so. Like I said earlier, Leopold is too old for my liking. If you want money, you seduce him and marry him. I want Robin." I smile softly.

"Okay then." She leaves.
