I wake up in a strong, yet gentle embrace. I almost forgot that I had slept with Robin last night. It was the best sleep I have had in a long time. I feel extremely refreshed. I snuggle into his side a little closer.

"Good morning." I hear him say in a sexy, husky voice.

"Good morning." I smile.

"How'd you sleep?"

"Good, thank you for letting me sleep with you." I reply.

"You're welcome, lovely. I am always here for you."

I smile and kiss his cheek. We lay there for awhile in a comfortable silence, until there is a knock on the door.

"You're Majesty, are you up?" John asks.

"Yes, Little John. I will be out soon."

"Okay, breakfast will be waiting you and her highness." Little John replies.

"How'd he know that I was in here?" I ask.

"One of the guards on the night shift must've seen you come over." He answers.

"Oh. What do you have planned for today?"

"I am going to the village later this afternoon. Would you like to accompany me?" He offers.

"Yeah!" I say excitedly.

"Did you ever go down to the village as a child?" Robin inquires as we ride to the village.

"When I was extremely little, my father would allow me to accompany him. My mother was against it, because I belonged to the castle. I had no rights once my father died. I was stuck, I couldn't even go with her when she went out." I shut up real quick, once I realize I started to babble on.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Regina." He gives me a slight pout. I bit my lip and start to play with my fingers, I am extremely uncomfortable. I don't like talking about my father, I miss him so much and I feel like when I talk about him, it's a piece of me that I fear to lose. I don't know, I'm weird, I guess.

I look out our carriage window and watch as the trees move behind us. Robin and I fall into a silence, none of us have anything to say and it's kind of awkward. The carriage finally comes to a stop, and we are at the biggest village in Robin's kingdom. The horns blow to signal our arrival. Robin gets out before me and offers his hand to help me out. He guides me through the crowd of people that are bowing, the kids whom are waving.

"All hail King Robin! All hail King Robin" They all sing as we make our way to the stage that is set up for us.

Once we are centered on the stage Robin begins his speech, "Good afternoon citizens of Sherwood Forest. Today I brought your future Queen-" He starts and I zone out. I really hate long and boring speeches. I stand there and smile, pretend to be listening.  I really don't know why I decided to come, I'm utterly bored. I guess it's because I haven't seen a village up close in over a decade. My father used to allow me to play with the village kids while he took care of business. It was so much fun, I felt normal, in way; I felt like an actual kid. It really felt like I actually had the world in my hands in the village, than rather in the castle doing princess things.

"Thank you for your time today." Robin finishes.

We get off the stage hand in hand. I thought we were going back to the carriage, but we make a sharp right and turn down a street.

"Where are we going?" I whisper.

"For lunch."

"Oh, okay." I reply. We head into little quaint tavern, named Bow and Arrows. It's really quiet in this Tavern, I thought they were usually loud and filled pigs disguised as men. Robin pulls out a chair for me to dit, in the far corner.

"What can I get y'all today?" A beautiful, brunette of a woman asks.

"Hogmaugh, please." Robin smiles.

"What is hogmaugh?" I question.

"Its pig with carrots and cabbage, and what not. It's delicious." He replies.

"Oh, okay. I'll try that." I say apprehensively.

"Alright, what 'bout drinks?"

"Ale, please." Robin answers.

"For you, ma'am?"

"Uh, water, please." I smile.

"What do you think of the village?" Robin asks me.

"It's very nice. I can see the respect that comes from you to them and vice versa, you're a great king, my love." I smile.

"Thank you, Regina. That means a lot coming from you." He reciprocates the smile.

After lunch we stroll arou d the village and greet his people, they all seem so nice. Watching Robin interacting with his people fills my heart with so much joy.

"Would you like a flower, my love?" Robin offers me this gorgeous rose that is red and fades to a black at the top of the petals.

"Why, thank you." I grin, and he kisses the back of my hand.

"Look, it's King Robin!" A little girl squeals.

"And how are you Ilianna?" Robin gets down and picks up the little one.

"I'm doing better now that I got see my favourite king!!" She exclaims.

"I'm the only king you've known." He chuckles.

"And that why you're my favourite!" She shines.

"You're cute, you that?" Robin starts to tickle the Child.

"Yes, Robin! That tickles!! Uncle!!" She laughs.

"Alright Ilianna, run along now, I must get going." He puts her down.

"Who's that?" She looks at me and hides behind Robin's legs.

"That's my beautiful bride to be." He looks me in the eyes and just smile.

"Oh. I'm Illiana, his favourite girl." She says proudly.

"I'm Regina. It's nice to meet Robin's favourite girl." I smile.

"Yeah, I think it'd be awesome to meet me too. Well, momma is calling me, bye!" And with that she sprints as fast as her little legs can take her.

"Someone had a crush on you!" I sing.

"Yeah... But Someone has a crush on you, and it's meee." He sings back.

"Awe, I like you too." I sat his cheek as we enter the carriage.

We sit next to each other, and he wraps his arm around me and pulls me close. We sit in silence on our way back to the castle. I've had such a nice day with my future husband. I'm really starting to fall for him. I never really thought I could fall in love, ever. I've been so independent, so about my kingdom. Also, my mother also said that people like us will never be able to find live, because our countries always come first, but I think I've found love. Maybe I'm just a lucky princess, or a naive young girl, but both sound pretty good right now. I look up at him and just smile, I've never felt so happy and safe before. My heart is filled with joy, he makes me feel so good and for once, in a long time, loved.
