(Y/N)'s pov

     I got home from school and shout "HEY, I'M HOME!" My 12 year old brother comes running up to me crying. " Hey, Nick what's wrong? Where's Mom?" " I just got a call from the police station Mom and everyone else in the family is dead except Hayden." I stood there in shock. 'What am I supposed to do? I'm only 18 and Hayden is 19. She probably doesn't even know yet.' I look down a Nicholas. "Have you told Hayden yet or do I need to call her a tell her?" "No the police called her." He said still in tears. I would be in tears too but I know I need to be strong.
        My phone starts ringing scaring Nick and I. I look down to see it's my best friend Jacob Wilson calling. I click the awnser button. " Chello, Chello. What's up Bubba?"( I have called Jacob Bubba for as long as I can remember because he is like a big brother to me.) "I heard what happened to your family. What are you going to do?" I rub my face in frustration. To be honest I only have a small clue on what to do and that is win the right to be Nick's guardian. "Well first I need to win the right to be Nick's guardian so he won't get taken away. And after that I need to talk to Hayden about that." It's silent on the other side of the phone. "Do you need any help with money or anything of that nature?" I think for a second. "Nope. Because we get all the money from the family."
        Jacob suddenly gasp "ARE YOU GOING TO MOVE?!?!?!?" I look down at my feet then to Nick who fell asleep. "...." "(Y/N) are you still there?" I snap out of the trance I was in. "Yeah Jacob I'm still hear and to awnser your question from earlier..... yeah we're going to move." I hear a small gasp from the other side. "Then I'm coming with you." "Really?" He pauses for a second. "....Yes because you are my best friend." I did a little happy dance. "I got to go so I can plan for the court case alright. I'll talk to you later. Bye." "Bye (Y/N). And good luck."

(Time skip to after you win the court case because I don't know how that works.)
      I won. I am Nick's official guardian. We are packing up to move from Hartselle to Gravity Falls. Hayden and I decided that we would live there. We bought the house and are driving a U-Haul to Gravity Falls. Jacob's stuff is in his truck he is already on his way up to our new home. I finish putting our stuff in the U-Haul and go inside. "Hey Nick, Hayden. You guys ready? All our stuff is already in the truck." They both look at me sadness in their eyes "Yeah we're ready." Hayden says sadly. "Go get in the truck you too Nick." They get up and leave. I look around our house one last time. "I'll miss you house." I then walk out and lock the house up. I get in the passenger side of the truck. Hayden starts up the U-Haul. As we pass the Hartselle water tower I say "Good bye Hartsell. I'll miss you."

Waz up my fellow weirdos. My name is Delaney and if you can't tell already I'm a crazy weirdo who can't write for shit. This is my first book and I know it sucks but it is based off of a dream I've been having since I've started high school. Sooo yeah. Well see you in the next chapter.
