(Y/N)'s POV (Dream)
I was sitting on the floor, envelope by toys. "(Y/N), sweetie, time to clean up and get ready for bed." my mother called from the doorway. I gazed up at her with a small pout on my face. "But Mommy, Jack said he wants to play some more!" I stated, pointing to the monochrome clown close to me. 'Mommy can't see him, but I know he's real.' I mused as I looked at my mother with a pleading look. "(Y/N), clean up your mess now and tell Jack you can play with him tomorrow!" She said, giving me a stern look. I sighed, "Yes ma'am." I started picking up my toys as she left the room. "Say Kiddo, I didn't mean for you to get into trouble with your mommy," Jack whispered, "I just thought that we could play so more." I looked up at him and smiled. "Jack, it's not your fault, so don't feel bad!" I reassured him with a hug, to which he returned with a smile. "That's good to hear, Kiddo! Anyways, I'd better leave, or your mommy will yell at you again." he stood up and kissed the top of my head. "I'll see you tomorrow, Ki-" he froze and looked at my window with a scowl. I turned to look at what he was scowling at because Jack never frowned. I look at the window to see a heart-shaped shadow leaving.
"Jack, what was that? You seemed angry at whatever it was." I inquired with a look of curiosity on my face. He peered down at me with a distressed look on his pale features. "Kiddo, come here please." I waddled up to the tall clown and hugged his legs. I released him as he picked me up and hugged me tightly. "Jack, what's wrong? You're making me anxious." I asked. He pulled away from our embrace and set me down. "Goodbye Kiddo..." he said with a melancholy look in his eyes as he walked towards my window. "Jack? Jack, when will you be back?" I asked him worried about his answer.
"I'm sorry, Kiddo, but I won't be coming back ever again. We might meet again in the future," he said, making me tear up. "No! No! No! NO! YOU PROMISED TO BE THERE FOR ME FOREVER! Jack, I may be only two years old, but I know when someone makes a promise, they should always keep it!" I shouted at the man I thought to be my best friend and only friend, tears streaming down my face. He gave me one last depressed look and disappeared. I sobbed as my mother walked in. "(Y/N)?! What's wrong? Why are you crying, Sweetie?" she questioned as she checked me for any injuries.
"J-Jack left-t fo-or goooood!" I sobbed into her chest as she held me tight. "Oh, Sweetheart, he'll come back one day. Now let's get you in bed," she said quietly as she picked me up and gently placed me on the bed. "Goodnight Sweetie. I'll see you tomorrow." she kissed my forehead, turned out the lights, and left. I sobbed into my pillow. "Why, Jack? Was I not a good friend?" I whispered to myself. "Why are you crying, dear?" I shot up in the bed to see a young woman with dark pink hair and a bright pink right eye, and the other had a heart-shaped eyepatch covering it. She wore a black dress with pink hearts all over, one black boot, and a pink one to match. She had a gentle smile on her pale face. 'She sure likes pink and hearts.' I thought to myself. Her smile grew. "You are a very observant child, my dear. I still don't understand why he didn't kill you, though," she said as she brought her face to mine, studying each of the features on my small face.
As she looked into my eyes, her eyes widened, and she let out a little gasp. "Miss, who are you?" I asked the strange woman. "Oh, where are my manners?" she backed up, "My name is Turquoise Strange, Dream Demon and Princess of Hell at your service!" she said with a grin as she bowed mockingly. "Why are you here, Miss Turquoise?" I looked at her curiosity, leaking out of me. She giggled, "Well, I originally came here to see why Jack refused to kill you because I thought you were just like his other 'friends.' Boy was I wrong! You, my dear child, are so very different from them! Oooooh, I wonder who your parents are! Athena? Hades? All Might? Naaah, maybe God himself is her father!" she rambled to herself as she started to leave. "Wait! Don't bother my mommy! She's trying to sleep." I begged worried she'd wake my mommy. "Ok, then! What're your parents' names then?" she asked with a glimmer in her eye. "My mommy's name is Amber Weaver, and my meanie of a dad's name is Brian (L/N)." I glared at the ground when I said my father's name. 'I hate that man.' Turquoise looked at me curiosity glimmering in her eye. "Your parents are humans?" I gave her a small nod. "Then why you of all the people in the Multiverse? It could have chosen a powerful wizard's child or a child of the gods, but it chose you. A tiny, powerless human who doesn't even know what I'm talking about." I gave her a quizzical look as she continued. "Honestly, what is the Multiverse thinking these days? A human is given the most critical role in the entire Multiverse. It is intriguing though...hmm maybe I could." she gazed at me with a look that I couldn't decipher. "What is it?" I asked her softly. Her eyes brightened with an idea as she snapped her fingers. "I've got it!" she shouted, rushing over to me. "How would you like to make a deal with me?" she exclaimed with an enormous grin on her face. I tilted my head in confusion, "What kind of deal?" I asked innocently. "How about you be my vessel and be 'The One' to break the curse I put on hundreds of people several years ago. In return, I will introduce you to hundreds of people who will be your friends, and I will train you on how to use your powers properly!" she suggested. "Powers? I don't have any powers...do I?" I looked down, confused. 'I don't have powers. I'm human. Humans don't have powers.' I thought to myself. "You do have powers, just because you're human doesn't mean that you don't have powers. You, my dear, are the most powerful being in all of the Multiverse! I will train you on how to use them properly though." she smiled softly at me, her eye sparkling with excitement at the idea of training a human. I thought for a moment, then looked at her. "Alright! I'll make this deal with you!" I exclaimed with a small smile on my face. Turquoise grinned and stuck out her hand for me to shake. I looked at her hand for a second before I decided to finalize the deal. I shook her hand, not knowing it would be the cause of a lot of pain in my future. "Alrighty dear, I'll come back someday soon to check up on you and then we'll start training when you turn 18!" Turquoise said excitedly. "BYE!!!" she disappeared. "Hmm what a strange woman." I said to myself as I put my hand to my face, 'Huh, why was I crying? Oh well, it doesn't matter.' I got into bed and drifted off to sleep, not knowing I forgot someone significant to me, Laughing Jack.
Turquoise's POV
I left (Y/N)'s house and teleported to Laughing Jack. "What did you do to her?" he asked in an irritated voice. "Just made a deal with her and erased you from her memories," I said with a smirk "Nothing tooooo big." Suddenly I was slammed into the tree behind me. "WHAT KIND OF DEAL DID YOU MAKE WITH HER?!" he screamed at me with ferocity. I grabbed his wrists and glared up at him "Release me now, you damned clown." I said in a menacing tone. "Not until you tell me what kind of contract you made with her!" he shouted. "She is 'The One' now. She's also my vessel. Satisfied now?" I asked in an annoyed voice. He let go of me stumbling backward, clutching his head.
"No. You can't do that!" Jack said, tears pricking his eyes. "And why is that, Jack?" I asked curiously. "YOU PUT HER INTO DANGER WHEN YOU MADE THAT DEAL WITH HER! SHE IS NOW GOING TO BE TARGETED BY YOUR MOTHER AND HUNDREDS OF OTHER VILLAINS!" he cried. I looked at the ground. "You think I didn't think about that?" I inquired, "YOU THINK SHE'S A NORMAL HUMAN GIRL DON'T YOU?! SHE'S NOT THOUGH! SHE IS THE PRINCESS OF THE MULTIVERSE, THE MOST POWERFUL BEING ANYWHERE! YOU THINK THAT I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN A MERE HUMAN TO BE MY VESSEL OR 'THE ONE'? DO YOU THINK THAT I WOULD HAVE LET A MERE HUMAN SURVIVE?" I screamed at him, my eyes turning blood red along with my skin. I was pissed. Jack's eyes widened in shock. "S-she's the Princess?" he questioned. "Yes, and she's the most powerful yet," I informed him. "Anyways I must leave to tell the Queen of my discovery. I will see you again soon, Jack." I left him. 'This child will cause a lot of trouble in the future.' I thought to myself.
