After walking what seems like an hour but it was probably less, we arrived at a fenced gate and there's a building that looks big enough to be a school. "How are we going to get through the gate? You never mentioned a gate." David asked Monica and he looks a little annoyed.

Monica frowns at him. "Because the gate is not a big deal. Sheesh, it's only been three years and you already forget about their tricks. Just follow me." She says annoyed. She walks to the left side of the gate.

She pushes on a brick on the wall which causes the gate to open without sounding an alarm or security guards to come to the gate. Monica smirks at David and walks through the opening.

"David, didn't you say that our parents used to work together? So why didn't you know that it could open as easily as that?" I ask him. He sighs quietly. "It's true that they used to work together, but after your parents quit working at the lab. My parents suddenly decided to quit three years ago. They didn't explain why and I didn't really ask why because it wasn't that big of a deal." He explains.

He follows after Monica and we have to move along the gate wall to walk to the lab undetected. "Won't it be easier to walk up to the front, since they know you Monica from your parents?" I asked while we walk.

Monica shakes her head while keeping an eye out. "It wouldn't work if I'm with other people because the people who works here aren't that trustworthy. I guess I could walk up there by myself but then you'll have no one to guide you to the back entrance and how it works. Since clearly David doesn't remember anything." Monica tells me.

David frowns at her, but doesn't respond. When we get to the back entrance, Monica takes out her phone to check the time. "Ok. We made it with a minute to spare but we still have to be cautious. In a minute, I'll unlock the door with the key then we have to go in. If the door isn't closed before thirty seconds then the alarms will sound so we have to move stealthy." She explains.

She looks through the keys on the keychain and when she finds the right one, she holds it close to the door. "Why would the alarm sound when you have the key?" I ask her.

"It's a safety measure against intruders, however this door is only used for emergencies which is why we have to wait. I'll ex—" She stops talking abruptly when she enters the key into the lock. There's a green light flashing above the door. She turns the key and opens it. David enters first then I do.

I turn to look at Monica and see that is she struggling with the key. "It won't come out and I have to close the door. So just be very careful when you look for your parents, Melissa." She says while the closing the door with the key still in the lock.

"They should be in the labs near here so be careful not to get caught." She says before closing the door fully. The green light that was flashing before, isn't anymore. I turn to look at David and find him looking left to right. "There's more doors to the right, so let's head to the left." He tells me.

I begin to nod my head but realize that he can't see me. "Ok, sure." I respond. He begins walking to the left and I follow after him. He opens doors as we pass and then peeks through each and every one of them. "How will you know which room, my parents are in?" I ask.

"Well, at this point I'm guessing with logic. Every room has a different kind of lab equipment and it seems like no one has been in there for at least a couple of days. I'm just looking for a room that's been used recently and has the right kind of lab equipment, but the equipment part will be complete guesswork since I don't know what kind of project your parents are doing." David explains.
