(Louis' POV)

The Captain and his crew walked back onto the ship.

Louis couldn't believe this was happening.

He knew the king was selfish.. but he never thought he would be selfish enough to let his own son die.

"Sir?" Niall turned toward Louis, cutting off his thoughts.

"Yes?" Louis asked.

"We should probably leave.." Niall suggested. "The guards will be looking for us."

"Yes.." He nodded his head. "I agree.."

Louis watched as Niall ran to the other side of the ship, preparing for them to leave.

The ship started moving, drifting away from London and out to sea once again.

Niall and Liam ran back up to Louis.

"Sir.." Niall began.

Louis looked up at the two boys in front of him. "Yes?"

"What's to be done about the Prince?"

Those were the words the Captain had been dreading.

"Umm.." Louis looked down at the floor. "I- uh.."

"Captain.." Liam clasped his shoulder. "You are the most ruthless Pirate in all the seven seas.. I know you can do this."

He was right.. He was the most ruthless Pirate in all the seven seas. He had killed hundreds of men in the past.

What makes this one so different?

"You're right.." Louis nodded his head. "And no Prince is gonna change that."

Niall and Liam also nodded.

"C'mon boys.." The Captain started walking toward the brig. "Let's end this.."

Louis and his crew followed as he opened the latch to the dark room down below.

The Captain couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness as he approached the cell.

He finally walked close enough to reveal the Prince still curled up in a corner.

Louis gulped, opening up the cell door.

"I'm sorry to inform you, your highness.." He walked closer to Harry. "But your precious King doesn't give a shit about you."

Harry shook his head violently, tears streaming down his face as he tried to speak.

He knew he was in trouble.

Louis leaned down to the terrified Prince, taking the cloth from his mouth.

"There's no way!" Harry shouted. "My father would never do that to me!"

"Like I said before.." Louis shrugged. "Maybe you don't know him like you thought you did."

Harry looked around, nervously. He knew what would happen to him if his father didn't pay up.

"W-What are you gonna do?" The Prince stuttered.

Niall and Liam looked at each other as they waited for their Captain to make a move.

"I'm sorry, your majesty.." Louis pulled out a dagger from his pocket. "But this must be done."

"You don't have to do this.." Harry's eyes widened at the sight of the weapon.

"It must be done.." The Captain repeated, placing the dagger up to Harry's throat. "I'm sorry, Harry."

The Prince flinched, eyes clenched shut from the cold metal pressing against his throat. "Please.."

"S-Shut up.." Louis stuttered, clasping the dagger loosely in his hand as he began to sweat. "I-I have to.. You know I have too."

They sat for a few moments in silence as Louis continued to hold the dagger up to his throat.

"Well.." Niall chimed in. "What are you waiting for?!"

"Don't pressure me!" Louis turned his head. "I'll do it when I'm ready!"

Still nothing..

"Sir!" Liam leaned closer. "You've killed many men! What makes this one any different?"

"Yeah! He's just a no-good royal.." Niall added. "If anything you should enjoy this. He deserves to die."

Harry slowly unclenched his eyes, looking deeply into the Pirate's eyes.

Louis began to well up with tears as he looked into the Prince's weepy emerald eyes.

"Don't look at me like that." Louis whispered, shaking his head.

Why was this so hard?

The Prince didn't look away, begging with his eyes.

"I-uh.." Louis stumbled. "I-"

"Just do it, Captain!!"

"Yeah, just do it!"

"I.." Louis loosened his grip on the dagger as a tear fell from his eye. "I can't do this."

The Pirate King dropped the dagger, causing a loud clinging sound as it hit the ground.

Harry let out a sigh of relief as the pressure released from his throat.

Niall and Liam shook their heads in disbelief. They couldn't believe their Captain didn't even have the guts to kill a no-good Prince.

They sat in silence for a few moments, waiting for the Captain to make a move.

Finally Louis stood up, turning toward his crew. "I just can't do it.. I'm sorry."

"We can do it for you, Captain.." Liam shrugged.

"Yeah.." Niall chimed in. "We could throw him overboard. It will be like none of this ever happened."

The Prince looked up at them. "N-No.. You can't-"

Louis looked down at the Prince.

"You may do what you must."

"No!" Harry screeched.

"Aye, Aye, Captain!" Niall and Liam shouted before walking into the cell, grabbing the Prince by his bound arms and pulling him onto his feet.

"No!" Harry struggled to escape their grasp. "No! Stop!"

"Let's go your highness!" They yelled, tugging him toward the upper deck.

"Louis!" Harry screamed, making Louis look up at him. "Please don't let them do this!"

The Captain tried to ignore his screams, looking down at the floor as his crew pulled Harry onto the upper deck.
