Dysphoria is inevitable for most trans people until they undergo surgery or overcome their dysphoria. If you don't have dysphoria, you should feel lucky. I'm going to give you some tips on how to deal with the gruesome dysphoria.
First and always, you need to take care of yourself! This means showering, exercising, eating healthy, exercising your brain, and just maintaining a healthy body overall. In upcoming chapters I will go more into detail about this.
Don't look in a tall mirror. If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, stop looking in the mirror! Still make sure you look healthy, happy, and confident, but you don't need to look below your face too often. When bathing, try thinking of other things to distract yourself.
Find a place where you can vent. You cant bottle up your emotions, but not everyone wants to talk with people close to them about dysphoria, it can be a bit awkward. Instead, find a following or group of transgender people online or in real life and just vent. You don't even need people paying attention, it just feels good to vent. I recommend the app Amino, where you can join different communities for different branches of the LGBTQ+ community.
Don't listen to homophobic people! Always keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with being transgender or not a binary gender! There are way more than two genders, no matter what they say. If you are transgender,. You are just like everyone else, you are not any less of a person. Everyone counts.
Hope these tips help !
