I've chosen the stunning Alexandra Daddario to play the role of Nicola Ryder.
Hope you like her :D'Screeech!'
I scratched my new Lamborghini.
Just after my father and I entered our front yard this afternoon, my head exploded with emotions on seeing the Lamborghini.
I was confused at first, thinking it was simply the ride for my father to go to the airport with, but on seeing the proud and joyed expression on his face, I realised it had had to be a present for me. After coming to this conclusion I was overwhelmed with gratitude towards my father, it was so sweet of him to gift me something so expensive!
But, does a costly gift make up for all those year I needed his support, all those times when I needed him and he was either buried in his newspapers or was simply not there. My head boiled with anger, how could he possibly think that I would fangirl over the car and forgive him for everything he has done?
But then again, what if he actually regretted not being there, and wanted to compensate with something of my interest, something I actually needed but never asked for. My cheeks flushed with regret, how could I even think of all the horrible things I thought about him just now? He was my father, after all, he would always want the better of me.
"Is this, really-" I started.
"Yours? Yes, darling, it is." He finished, still smiling broadly. "You do know to ride a car yeah? Don't tell me my efforts were futile!" He said jokingly.
"Yeah, yeah of course I do, I've got my driver's license and all." I replied.
"Well, good for you. I really need to be going right now, so-"
I cut short his statement by abruptly hugging him. I remembered all those years ago when I last hugged him, when mother was in the hospital, breathing her last breaths. I wondered if anybody else had hugged him since. Maybe he deserved this hug. Maybe I deserved this hug too.
"Thanks dad." I whispered.
"Anytime." He whispered back.
The sound of a horn broke our hug. It was a not-too-grand Limousine, probably waiting for my father.
"I thought you didn't like show offs" I said.
"Times change. People change." He replied.
"Hire some gardeners then." I commented with some eagerness in my voice. This place really did need gardeners.
"Yeah sure." He said before laughing and heading towards the Limo. He started waving to me once he was in the car.
"Make sure not to scratch the Lamborghini!" He called out, with an edge of seriousness in his tone.
"I won't!" I promised.
I did.
It was totally not my fault though. Blame Darcy. Just after my father had left, I went back to take a quick shower before devouring the scrumptious meal which had been waiting for me. Rose was really mad at this point, no one had kept her waiting in a long time. She kept glaring at me and kept muttering comments like 'soup should be drunk without making noises' and all that stuff.
After finishing my meal, I thanked Rose ever so politely, and apologised for keeping her waiting for so long, which seemed to lift some of her spirits. All that time I was being spammed with texts by Darcy, who kept on urging me to come faster. I hurriedly put on my jacket over my shoulders and jammed myself into the Lamborghini.
