[Time lapse bc I don't feel like writing about the whole summer so I'll give some highlights.]

Cecelia's POV:

August 23rd

The summer seems to have flown by. My graduation party wasn't too bad, it was just a small amount of family and we had a cook out and swam around in the in ground pool. Most of the time after that I was at the pool with my friends, soaking up these last few weeks together.

Jack wasn't around much since they had a tour in the UK. I'd have to say the best two weeks of summer vacation was with him though. Jack and I, along with our group of friends went to Cedar Point, then to the island Put-In-Bay. Not fun that I had to drag a underaged drunk Stacey out of a bar in Put-In-Bay though. Other than that it was a blast. Jack and I took way too many selfies together. Alex almost threw me over the ferry to the island, now that was scary.

That's another thing, after that trip I tried distancing us. I don't need to go into college and already have my plate full. Packing had to of been the worse. All mom did was cry. I starting packing since I was moving in with my aunt for a month before school starts. Dad gave me a couple thousand dollars that he wouldn't let me turn down. He insisted I take it and left it on the kitchen counter. So of course I took it off the table, or he would of pried it into my hand before I walked out the door. It will be used for the dorm and to pay for books.

At the moment I'm standing right out side of the college gates. Today is my first day on campus and my nerves are sporadic. Aunt Cass tags along with me to show me to my dorm, then we will get my stuff from her house. The front lawn is chaotic with people playing frisbees, playing instruments and a wide variety of other things as well. Lucky for me, my dorm is on the first floor. I've been told they are the nicest in both girls and guys dorms. Of course the master mind behind that is my Aunt.

"Holy shit!" I exclaim, covering my mouth as she opens the door. The room is spacious with two beds, a bathroom, a small kitchen and living room with decent furniture. Aunt Cass looks at me with a grin and we enter the dorm.

"Your roommate isn't here yet but I'm told her name is Alison Kuhns, and she's super nice." That's a relief, I wouldn't want a jerk roommate who steals my clothes. After my little tour of the dorm, then the campus we go and get my clothes from her house and bring them to my dorm. All of it is in multiple suitcases and I purchased a bed spread for the twin sized bed. I'm going to miss my queen sized bed back home so much. It's literally like laying on a cloud. After I get everything situated I have it planed that I'm going to buy some food, kitchen utensils and stuff for the bathroom, I hope my roommate likes the color blue. My aunt leaves the room, she plans to go with me and us go out to dinner, classes don't start until Monday and orientation is tomorrow so there is no time for it any other day.

I take a break from unpacking and decide to go buy my books at the bookstore. I've only unpacked 1 suitcase out of the three, put the bed spread on and a couple other petty things. I grab my phone and wallet and head for the book store. I haven't looked at my phone in a while, but I have a text from Jack.

Jack: How's unpacking going miss college freshman?;)

Me: I gave up for the time being, it's so tiring! Haha. Going to buy my books right now. I lock my phone as I approach the bookstore. I pull out close to a thousand dollars to pay for my books and utensils. I'm actually thankful dad gave me some money, the rest is safe in my bank account.

On my way back to my dorm I see the door is wide open, and a girl with blonde hair is hulling suit cases in from the hall way. I guess this is my new roommate that I'll room with for the year. Okay Cece this is no time to be nervous, it's just my roommate. I walk down the hallway until I reach her.
