I hate school! Well, schoolwork anyways. I love hanging out with my peeps. I'm stuck here at school, it's the first day back and I'm wishing summer could've lasted another week or two.
"Denea!!!!" Lorraine cried running toward me. She with a big grin on her face and she gave me a bear hug that about sqeezed the daylights out of me. She's one of my bestest friends, practically a sister. She had wavy brown hair and light chocolate brown eyes.
"Hey, Lorraine." I gasp. She let me go.
"Sorry. I can't believe we are starting the 7th grade!"
"I kow right!!! I'm so excited. Hopefully there'll be some cute guys coming here this year." I smirk but she just shakes her head. She does that alot.... because of me, of course.
"I worry about you."
"You totally should." I said with a big grin on my face.
"What's up my peoples?" Our other bestie, Laney came over toward us.
"Being totally pumped for this year!" I was bouncing up and down.
"It's so weird to be in Jr. High." Lorraine's kind of shy at first, untill you get to know her or you make her mad.
"I hate being the little peoples again." I whined. They both stare at me like I'm crazy.
"What? Don't worry, these high schoolers will learn not to mess with me." I cross my arms, declaring it true. The jr. high which is 7th and 8th grade is practically with the high school.
"That's what we are worried about." Lorraine is the less crazy one of my friends. I gave a big totally-up-to-no-good-and-knows-your-caught-but-don't-care smile. We made it to our first class, music. I forgot to mention, in jr. high boys and girls are split up in different classes.
"Heyy people." Diane, another bestie and my neighbor. Brriinngg. The second bell rang.
"Class, take your seats." Our new music teacher Mrs. Linley said.
