Jace and Lorra P.O.V The Fight

I'm at the field at school practicing. We have a baseball game today. It's after school and it's like 80 degrees out here. We were used to it but it was still hot.

"Can't wait to beat some BB ass." My friend, Erik said smiling. We were pitching to each other.

"I know right!" I smiled and threw the ball. He hit it and it went to the outfield. Soon we were in the game. We practiced for an hour. Then, we had an hour to rest beore the game. We hung out in the dug out because it had the most shade. Finally, the time came. We played the game and won. We started to head out to celebrate.

"Aww, now go tell your little girlfriend." Ryder sneered as I passed him.

"What do you want, Jackass?" I asked looking at him with a bored look.

"She's a good fuck." He whispered in my ear. That did it. I lost it. I hit him in the face. He fell to the ground from the unexpected blow.

"You fucking bastard!" I screamed and got on top of him. I punched his nose next and heard it crack. 

"Get the fuck off of me!" He yelled back and gave me a black eye.

"Not after what you did!" I yelled and kneed him in the groin. He grunted.

"But she was good." He whispered and smirked. I punched his mouth and it started bleeding. I smiled.

"Dude get off of him!" Erik and Dusty said hauling me up.

"Whatever." I said and let them haul me away.

"What the hell was that about?!" Erik said looking at as if I were insane.

"I...I can't say." I looked down. I made a promise to the girl I loved, there was no way I was breaking it.

"And why the hell not?" He was pacing now.

"I made a promise. You know I don't break promises, no matter what." I said leaning my head back. We were in my truck but just sitting there.

"Whatever, man. I hate to say this but man, you can kick some ass." Erik gave a little smile.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"So, you broke his nose, busted his lip, gave him a black eye, and put about three bruises. All you got was one black eye. Damn!" Dusty said giving me a high five.

"It's kind of personal so, yeah, I have a pretty bad temper. You guys know that." The only thing I could think about was how that bastard fucking enjoyed raping my girl, the girl I would die hundred times over for. That didn't help my temper.

"Well, you put one badass beating on him, that's for sure." Erik said shaking his head. Then, the rest of the team started coming over and talking about my fight. I barely heard them, I was just thinking about how I wanted to be with the only person who could come me down. I waited for all them to leave and drve my bros home. I finally pulled up to my house to see a cop car in the drive.

"Can I help you, Officer?" I asked getting out of my truck.

"Are you Jace Davies?" He asked looking at me.

"Yes, sir." I asked cautiously. Why the hell would a cop be looking for me.

"You're under arrest for the assualt and battery of Ryder Hunt." He said handcuffing me.

"Shit. Really?" I asked as he put me in the back of his cop car.

"No need for that language young man. Yes, really." Then he started mirandizing me. I had two thoughts going through my head, 1. I'm going to kill Ryder, 2. what was I going to say as my excuse. They lead me to a cell for me stay for a while.

"One phone call." A big guy said opening my cell door. I walkd out and went to the phone. I dialed the number.

"Hello?" Lorra asked catiously.

"Sis, I'm in jail. Let me finish. I need you to call up the guys, I need bail money. I'm in here because I beat Ryder up and he went to the cops. This is my only phone call." I finished, hoping she wouldn't yell at me.

"How much?"

"$400 in cash."

"I'll get it and we'll get you out, bro. I'll see you later. I'll tell Diane." It was like she could read my mind.

"Thanks sis. I'll talk to you later." I hung up. They walked me back to my cell.

Lorra P.O.V.

I just hung up the phone with my brother. How the hell did he let himself get thrown in jail? I called up the guys and told them what happened. They all said they'd be over here in ten minutes and bring all the money they had. Then, I called Diane and she said she was heading over here. I sat and waited for them. They all had rode with Dusty so, they were here at the same time.

"I can't believe Ryder would fucking do that. Not that he ain't a jackass but throwing a guy in jail, that's just not right." Nick said first.

"Remember, Jace said it was something personal that made him beat up Ryder." Erik said looking at Dusty

"Yeah, if only we knew what it was." Dusty said looking around.

"I know." Diane said coming in.

"You do?" We all said at the same time.

"Yeah, I didn't want anyone to know but I told him and made him promise not tell anyone. Can yal keep a secret, and I mean a secret that's agains the law? For me?" She asked looking at each one of us.

"Against the law? You did something against the law?" Nick looked at her.

"I didn't do it. That's all I can say without yall's promises." She looked brave but a little scared, which was really weird.

"I promise." We all said together.

"This is not easy for me to say and please don't judge me. I was ..... raped." She looked down as if we were all going to look at her in disgust.

"By who?" Nick was practically like her brother so, of course he'd be the first to ask.

"Ryder. Ryder raped me Saturday after the party." She said, her eyes watering up. We all went to comfort her.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know. I've asked that to myself a million times, why me, what did I do to deserve it." A single tear rolled down her cheek.

"It's ok. We can throw that bastard in jail." I growled.

"No, no, no. No one's going to know."

"Why not?" Nick asked.

"Who will they believe, me or the rich and powerful Hunt kid?" She asked closing her eyes. We all knew the answer and none of us as going to say it.

"Let's just go get Jace out of jail." She said wiping her eyes and getting up. We all got in Dusty's truck and Brandon volunteered to ride in the bed of the truck since, there wasn't enough room in the truck. We headed to town hall and got Jace out.

"Thank you guys so much, I promise this won't happen again." He said shaking the guys hands and hugging me. Then, he turned to Diane and gave her a litle peck on the lips. This time Diane sat on Jace's lap so, supposedly, no one else would have to ride in the back. We just went along with it. Finally, they dropped us of at home. I hugged my brother and went to the living room to settle down. Him and Diane went for a walk.
