~part 19~

The bell rings for end of class everyone rushes to get to there next class I walk into the hall way and to my locker I hear girls giggling walking past I look to see Charlie and her group of boy brain girls

I roll my eyes at the thought of them closing my locker only to see jc leaning on the locker behind it

"OH SHIT" I yell putting my hand on my chest "you scared me" my face softens and I laugh at myself and jc joins

"What class you got" he asks standing off the locker

"I have English, what about you" I ask looking at him "Chemistry" he says looking down

"Well I'll see you in the cafeteria after" I question

"Wouldn't miss it " he says smiling and walking off

English goes fast and before I know it I'm walking to the cafeteria I walk in and Ella, Jamie and jc are already sitting at our table I start walking to them when I hear people yelling behind me a guy runs into the cafeteria

"FIGHT!!!"

Everyone get up and runs out to see who's fighting and all of a sudden someone grabs me turning me around to face them

"Nash? What is it?" I look at him he's out of breath and breathing heavily

"Ethan....Grayson...there fighting" he says trying to catch his breath I run out of the cafeteria followed by Nash Ella Jamie and jc

I run through the school doors the see a circle surrounding Ethan and Grayson I hear grunts of pain

I run pushing through the crowd to get to them I get to the front and see Grayson holding Ethan by the collar of his shirt punching the shit out of him he has a split lip and black eye starting to form, Ethan punches Grayson causing blood to start streaming down his face from his nose there hands covered in each other's blood

"STOP" I yell starring at them I feel a tear down my face did I cause this

I run over and pull graysons arm down "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I yell and he looks at me his face softens and he lets go of Ethan looking at me "what the hell Grayson" I let go of him tears streaming down my face

"Sage please" he says reaching out "NO don't touch me, I don't know who you are anymore" I say backing up and walking off wiping the tears off my face

I walk into the girls bathroom and look in the mirror leaning on the sink

"What am I doing, why am I crying over him, I'm stronger then this" I whisper to myself I splash water on my face calming myself down I still have to get threw 3 more classes

I walk out as confident as ever walking past the office where Ethan and Grayson were now sitting not taking one glance at them

I walk into history late and everyone has there eyes on me

"Nice of you to join us sage, take a seat" the teacher says looking at me like I'm satan

"Take a picture it lasts longer" I say sticking my finger up at everyone looking at me then walk to my seat that is up the back of the class

I put my hoodie up and my earphones in so no one can see my face scrolling through my phone

I walk into the cafeteria once again not expecting to see Ethan or Grayson but low and behold there they sit like nothing happened all bruised up

Grayson has a black eye and bruised jaw and Ethan has a black eye and busted lip

I look at them shaking my head when I see my friends I sit with them they don't say one word until jc joins us and starts making conversation

"So what's everyone doing after school" he says awkwardly smiling

"Going home" I say rolling my eyes

"Ahhh thought you were coming to mine, remember the party" Ella says raising her eyebrows at me

"My dad's home" I say in a low voice so they can only just hear

I look up to see Ella and Jamie they look like they've seen a ghost

"Yeah tell me about it" I say looking down

"What's so bad about that" jc says confused

"I don't see him often" I say rolling my eyes again

"Ohhhhh" he says not asking anymore question because he probably figures I'll bite his head off if he does

"And yeah I remember Ella but I can't if I don't turn up he'll come looking for me" I say looking down as if I'm ashamed of him

I'm walking home when a car pulls up beside me

The window slowly opening to reveal........Grayson!

"Hey" he says with that famous smirk plastered on his face

"Nice face" I say In a smart ass way glancing at him then looking straight ahead

"Sage what's wrong what have I done" he says as his facial expression drops

"Have you looked in the mirror" I say pointing at his eye as if it isn't obvious

"Don't be a smart ass sage I know you like me" he says frowning his eyebrows

"Full of yourself much" I say as I get to the front of my house turning and looking at him with my arms crossed

"Come on sage talk to me" he says in a whiny tone

I roll my eye at him walking up to my house

As I get to the door I can hear yelling and things breaking

I unlock the door with my key slowly opening it to reveal my parents in a heated argument

"GO UP STAIRS SAGE THIS DOESNT CONCERN YOU" my mum and dad yell in sync I jog past them and up the stairs to my room putting my pillow over my head to muffle the screams

I feel my face becoming hot red and the tears dampening the bed underneath me

"Please stop" I say to myself as the screams get louder

Theo is at his friends and Dylan's at dance practice I'm happy there not here to witness this

I get up from the bed and go to the window opening it and climbing down the tree outside jumping the fence and running down the street
