Chapter ¤ 5 -Bittersweet-

                        A Week Later...

Today was a very emotional day for me and it had just started. Dre would be leaving this afternoon to go to Europe and there was nothing I do about it. Roman was way too small to take across the world and even if I did decide to take that risk I knew it wouldn't be responsible. Dre would be too busy anyway and there was no way I would be able to keep up with him and take care of our newborn at the same time.

I always hated when these times came. I thought after the first few times you would get use to it but this is something I'll never get use to. This was gonna be a whole new experience for us both. My experience taking care of Roman by myself for three months and Dre's experience to be away from us both. Guess I gotta suck it up though cuz somebody has to provide even though we have enough money saved up.

Dre had decided to ask Rome to come down from ATL to come spend some time with his nephew and could help me with him if I needed the help. He already had a bodyguard here while he was gone but he asked Rome just because he knew he wanted to visit anyway. I was also gonna have my cousin Kerick here when he took some time off from work.

I've gotten better from last week after hearing the news about my first agency but I got over it. Yes it was a loss but I was actually happy that it wasn't there anymore. That meant Analis' ass would no longer be working for me. I had a feeling she probably had something to do with it but all will come out soon enough.

Today was also the day of my check up since having Roman, so I was in the process of getting ready to leave, while Dre stayed home with Roman. I was fluffing out my curls and twisting a few around my finger when I felt arms wrap around my waist and that Lacoste cologne I loved.

"You look nice." Dre whispered in my ear. I felt a chill go down my spine.

"Thank you babe." I smiled, sticking my tongue out at him in the mirror. He chuckled.

"Know what today is?"

"Yea..." I pouted. He turned me around to face him, holding my hands in his.

"Don't be sad. I promise we'll talk every day baby."

"Mmhmm." I mumbled.

Dre walked forward and pressed his body against mine, not leaving any space as my behind touched the counter. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. His hands slid down to my behind and squeezed roughly. I moaned against his lips letting him slip his tongue in. Our tongues fought against one another hungrily.

It's been four months since we've had sex.

I felt Dre's arousal poking against my stomach causing me to smile and pull away. Dre stared at me with lust filled eyes, a smirk forming on his face. He was still leaning close to.me his hands now on either side of me on the counter.

"I gotta go before I be late." I told him, trying to even out my breathing.

"But I don't want you to go. I wanna finish what we started." he smiled, showing off his whites.

God he looked so sexy when he did that.

I blushed. "I know babe. So do I. But I gotta go... Plus if your gonna do anything this appointment has to come first. I am not having another baby anytime soon."

Dre sucked his teeth. "Fine. Gimme my kiss."

I pecked his lips three times then added tongue before pulling away, making Dre groan.
