Chapter ¤ 12 -Unpredictable-

I can't believe that my baby is three months old today. To see how big he's getting and learning new things amazes me at how fast children really do go. I always use to hear 'Cherish the time you have while they're little. They're only little once'; I really do believe in that saying now cuz it seems just like yesterday that I had him. Before I know it I'll be celebrating his first birthday.

Dre has a less than a month left on tour and then I'll have him all to myself again. I miss waking up to him, cleaning up after him, kissing him. I'm thankful to have such a wonderful man.

Since I don't have that much time left until I go back to work, I decided to go ahead and get the last minute things done for my clothing line. I still have to come up with a name which is hard as hell since I want to be unique. The only thing left to do really besides that is to get the photo shoot done for the website and ordering some samples to be made for the launch party I'll be having once Dre gets back. Of course he'll be performing which will really get me some fanbase for my boutique. The building has already been built which is next to my agency. It will be furnished once I finally have the party.

Besides everything I've really been thinking about letting Rome go back home to ATL. I know he misses it and probably wants his own space again. I feel like he needs to get back to his own life and maybe find himself a girlfriend or something. Maybe he has one already but I haven't asked him. The only thing is I know he won't agree to going back unless Dre comes home early.

I heard a knock on my office door and stopped what I was doing on my laptop. Knowing it was Rome I stood up and walked to the door quickly pulling the door back since it had been slightly cracked. He smiled at me and looked into my office.

"Was I interrupting?"

"No not really." I slightly laughed. "What's up?" I asked, shifting my weight onto my left foot.

"I was gonna ask you ya opinion on somethin'. I'on know what to think really..."

I raised an eyebrow and moved to the side motioning for him to come inside and sit down. Rome never really was the type to ask me for advice he was always that one that gave it out, so I knew this had to be something serious.

I sat down once Rome has took his seat across from me at my desk. I scooted my chair up and folded my hands underneath my chin giving him my full attention. He looked down into his lap and sighed. I could tell he was hesitant to say what he had to say but I didn't mind. I wasn't gonna rush him. I sat back into my chair and moved my hair outta my face.

I really ain't know why it was takin' me this long to get what I had to say out. I guess it was the fact that I don't ever really share my personal life wit' anyone besides Dre but I needed a females opinion and Ki was the only person I felt comfortable wit'. I knew she wasn't one to judge so I jus' needed to get this out the way.

"Well," I started. "I've met these two chicks that I'm kinda interested in but I'm not even really sure I wanna deal wit' either one. I have a fear that they'll wanna take advantage of me since I got money and do me like Analis' did. Shit... I don't even know why I should be worried."

Ki laughed and shook her head. "I understand exactly what you mean. It took me awhile to even want to try a relationship with Dre but I'm glad I did. You know Darian is just as trifling as Analis' was but that shouldn't stop you from meeting new people. You might actually find what you've been looking for. Not everyone is like Analis' Rome."
