Will She Come Back?

Chapter 14

"Exactly how do we find this rock?" Mabel asked.

"The journal says to go right at the first tree, left at the second, right at the third, straight past the fourth, and right at the fifth tree. Then it says that Tom is inside the tree, through the little door at the bottom." Dipper stated.

They followed the instructions of the journal and sure enough, there was a little door. On that little door, a sign read "Tom's Place".

"Ok. I guess this is it." Dipper said as Mabel reached down and knocked on the door. As she did this, the door slowly creaked open. Then the two looked inside. There was nothing beside a grayish-brownish rock. Mabel reached in an grabbed the rock.

"Is this it?" Mabel asked as she examined the rock. On the bottom of the rock, it read in black ink "Tom".

"Yep. It matches the picture in the journal too." Dipper stated as he showed her the book.

"Cool. Let's get back home and start on this project!"

"Soos should be back by now too." Dipper concluded as the two walked back home.

Once they arrived back to the shack, Soos was parking the golf cart.

"Hey, Soos!" Mabel greeted.

"Hey, girl dude. Here's that tin foil your brother needed." Soos replied

"Thanks! Bye, Soos!" Mabel concluded as she ran into the shack to meet her brother in their room.

"Okay! Let's get started!" Mabel announced.
Then the two sat down and got to work. The contraption was complicated yet simple. It had two helmets that are connected with Tom the Rock in the center. It took them two hours, but they finally finished. The two ran downstairs, quickly ate dinner, and then both headed back upstairs. They got ready for bed and met back in their room.

"You ready?" Dipper asked as he put on one helmet.

"Yep! Let's do this!" Mabel exclaimed as she put on the other.

"Okay. It says here for it to activate and for us to fall asleep, I have to read these words from the journal." Dipper stated.

"I'm ready whenever you are." Mabel stated.

Dipper then read the words aloud. Then the two were knocked out. They both appeared in the shack, but it was all in black and white.

A few moments later, (y/n) showed up.
