Will She Come Back?

Chapter 2

The twins peered of the cliff, both of them with tears in there eyes.

"She's gone. She's really gone!" Mabel stated.

"This can't be happening. THIS CANT BE HAPPENING! It must be a dream. Pretty soon we are going to wake up and (Y/n) will be safe, right?" Dipper stated looking at Mabel.

"No, Dipper. It isn't a dream. She's gone...Look I am going to go home. If you want to come with me you..." Mabel began to say before she was cut off by Dipper.

"No, it's fine. I'm going to stay here for a little bit. Tell Stan that I will be home soon...and tell him what happened." Dipper stated.

Mabel nodded her head and walked home, leaving the golf cart for Dipper. When she arrived home, she told Stan everything. Then a few hours later, Dipper arrived home. Stan was waiting for him in the living room.

"I'm back." Dipper said in a gloomy tone, walking in the shack.

"Hey, Dipper. Mabel... she told me everything. I'm sorry about (Y/n)......If you want something to eat, there is leftovers in the fridge." Stan said.

"It's fine. I'm not that hungry anyways. But thanks." Dipper replied and headed up the stairs. Once he got upstairs, he spotted Mabel already asleep. Then Dipper took off his vest and went to bed.

The next morning Dipper woke to find Mabel not in the room.

"Maybe she is having breakfast." Dipper thought to himself, but before he could get out of bed, Mabel burst through the door.

"DIPPER! DIPPER! YOU HAVE TO COME SEE WHAT'S ON THE NEWS!"

"Ok. Ok, Mabel. I will be there in a second."

"NOT A SECOND! NOW!" Mabel demanded as she grabbed his hand and the two ran downstairs.

"Mabel! What's so important on the news that you..." Dipper began to say when he saw the headline on the TV. It stated...

"CAR FALLS OFF CLIFF ONE BODY FOUND"

"This is Shandra Jimenez reporting live from this accident where it seems to be that this here car drove off the cliff."

"Mabel! That's the car (Y/n) was in!" Dipper stated.

"I know! That's why I ran upstairs to get you! Now be quiet. I want to hear the rest of the news thing!" Mabel concluded.

"We only found 1 body in the car." Shandra said.

"One?!?" Dipper and Mabel said in unison.

"It appears to be this was the man. He wasn't local, so we have no clue who he is. But if you do know anything, let Sheriff Blubs or Deputy Durland know immediately!" Shandra concluded.

"Mabel, do you know what this means?" Dipper questioned. Mabel shook her head in response.

"It means that...(Y/n) can still be alive!"
