Harper gasped, "Stop! I can't breathe!" Madison and the others didn't stop laughing. "What!? You can't handle it!? Maybe you should just go cry!" Madison dunked her head in the toilet again, then pulled her hair and whispered, "Why don't you go kill yourself, bitch!"
Mia folds her arms across her chest, "If I catch you flirting with Aiden again..." she laughed "Let's just say I wouldn't want to be you. He's my boyfriend! Understand?" Harper held her knees, "I wasn't flirting with him..." Madison scoffed, "Mhmm. Then what were you doing?" Harper held back her tears, "I was just asking him if I could have my book back. He borrowed it and never gave it back."
Mia rolled her eyes, "Stop making excuses you little skank! I saw you putting your hands all over him!" Madison stood next to her, "And I'm just looking out for my girl, M here! Don't ever do that again." Harper stood up, "I wasn't even doing anything!" Mia slapped her across the face, "Don't ever talk to us like that. You are nothing!" The girls left the bathroom, leaver Harper alone, holding her cheek.
School was over, and Harper walked home alone. All of the horrible things people have said to her echoed in her mind. You're nothing. You little skank! Kill yourself... etc. "I am worthless." she murmured. Maybe people did care about her, but obviously not enough to help her or stop her.
She was home alone.
With tears and sweat beading down her face, she finished her last journal entry. Then she went into her parents' room and grabbed the metal box in their closet. She unlocked it and picked up her father's gun. "I don't want to live anymore." A part of her was saying, "If she did this, they won." But most of her was broken...
She had been snapped in half. Her spirit was gone and she had no will to live left. It was almost as if she was on auto-pilot. She put the box back and entered the bathroom. She sat in the bathtub and stoked the gun for a while. She looked around and out the window one last time.
She put the gun up against her temple, "Goodbye... cruel world." And she pulled the trigger.
