Chapter 2

I heard giggles and sneers coming from the classmates around me. I huffed and concentrated on What Mrs Frod was saying. "So Mr Stone welcome to my class, I see you already know a few students here, how did u and Lili meet? "Call me Cole Wendy, and I have never met Lili" he said glancing from behind his shoulder at me, "But I would love to meet her" I stared at him my mouth oped, trying to process what he had just said. Did he seriously just tell a teacher to call him by his first name and called her teacher by her first name? My mouth closed and I blushed embarrassed as I heard him say the last part. I lowered my head as low as possible. The whole class was laughing hysterically. "I will call you by the name a teacher calls their students Mr Stone which is their second name. And As a Student you are instructed to call your teacher by their second name, so you will do so. If not you will get immediate detention, have you understood?" The class continued laughing, finding it very amusing. "I understand Mrs Frod, I am very sorry" Cole said sneering then walked off and sat down on the seat next to me. I gasped then stared at him. He grinned not looking at me, but making it obvious that he is aware of my reaction . I sighed then took out my pencil case and english binder. I wasn't in the mood to fight with such a cocky guy, so I opened my binder and started making notes. The class ended quicker than i thought, probably because I was focused on the class.
I shoved my stuff into my bag and stood up to leave. I felt a hand pull me down onto my chair and came face to face with cole. "what do you want?" I hissed hoping Mrs Frod had already left the classroom. "I'm Cole" he said putting out his hand. I shook it and then asked again this time making it clear that i didn't want to be here. "I'm sorry I just need your help!" He said. "with what?" I said trying to calm down. "I don't understand the english assessment." I stared at him taking in what he just said. "Eh yes uhh sure uhh how can I help?" Meet me today after school in the library" He said staring into my eyes. Again I got distracted by his eyes "ehh yes hem okay I will be there."He stood up and walked out of the room like nothing had happened. For the second time that day I slumped back in my chair and took a deep breath. Why had he made such a drama, about a normal question?Anna's head appeared at the door." Are you coming or not?" I nodded then got up  and followed Anna. We sat down at a table in the Mensa and started eating. I looked up to see Anna sitting opposite me alone. "Where's Arthur?" I asked. "Oh he said he couldn't come since he's going to hang out with that new guy Cole, your secret admirer." I choked on the tuna sandwich I was eating and spluttered. "Does he know Cole?" I said ignoring her comment on him being my secret admirer. She shrugged," I don't think so, but it seems like they are getting alone pretty well!" I turned around to see them laughing knocking  each other in the chests. I will  never understand boys. We started talking and had soon forgotten about Cole and the boys. The bell rung and I hugged Anna then walked to my next lesson. The next four lessons I had, were not with Cole and I was happy to be able to concentrate fully on the teacher. School ended, and I stepped outside breathing in the cold air. Even though it was August and the Sun was shining  it was still cold outside and I regretted wearing shorts. "Do you want a ride?" A voice said and I turned around too see Ryan grinning at me. He was leaning against his new motorcycle which had obviously just been cleaned as it sparkled in the sun light. I scowled at him "I would rather get locked up in a room filled with Anacondas than ride your hideous Motorcycle!" The boys around him laughed and I walked away grinning. Ryan stood their with his leatherjacket, mouth wide open staring at me, whilst his friends were laughing at him. I was pleased with myself and grinned all the way home. I hated Ryan even more than Stacy,who was already unbearable. Ryan had broken Anna's heart so many times, telling her he loved her, than breaking up with her in front of the whole  class. Anna had loved Ryan and had always forgiven him, but he always did it again. It got to the point where Anna started to get bullied. Ryan said he had always loved me, and I didn't know if he just said that to break me and Anna's friendship or if it was rlly true. Three years later Anna met Arthur and everything changed. Ryan hasn't changed though. He is still the same idiot. I unlocked the house door and closed it behind me. The house was quiet, so I took of my shoes and walked up the stairs. I spent the rest of the evening doing homework and watching trashy Tv series Stacy should be in. Classes went by very fast the following day and the next thing I knew we had five more minutes of class until school ended. It only then hit me that I had to meet up with Cole soon, and my heart started to beat faster. "You are all dismissed from class" Mrs May said and I picked up my stuff and headed to the library. I pushed open the heavy doors and entered it. School had ended so there was practically no one there. I walked around looking for Cole. The library had different types of areas for students, half of the library was full of little booths to work in. I saw him sitting in one of the booths at the end of the library, his eyes fixed on the computer screen. I waked over and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and stared at me.
