Chapter 7

"So are you gonna tell me?" Cole asked. I nodded and took a deep breath." It all started when I was six. We were a usual happy family, me and my older brother Mason, my two twin siblings Olivia and Madox and my other younger brother Liam. Liam is three, Olivia and Madox four and Mason, well I don't know how old he is." What happend?" Cole asked. "Well one night my parents went out on a date night. Since Mason was fourteen at the time, he had the responsibility. My parents left and I took The twins and Liam out for an ice cream, at the local ice cream shop down the road. Mason said he would be at home playing video games. After we had had our ice cream we arrived home, to find Mason gone. His Video game was still on, and his shoes were still in the hallway, meaning he hadn't planned on leaving. I grabbed my phone and took the children into the only room with a lock, which was the bathroom. I locked it and told them to be quiet. I put on a peppa pig episode on the I pad and they watched it in silence. I straightaway called 911, and they came to search the house, then let us out of our hiding spot. From then on everything went down. My mother committed suicide on Mason's fifteens birthday, a 3 months after his disappearance. My mom was my best friend, and the one I looked up to. It was supposed to be a day were we celebrate Mason's life. But instead it was a day of depression. The police investigated every where, and tried to find a solution to why Mason was kidnapped. After almost half a year the case was closed. They presumed Mason was dead. Everyone told me, that he was dead. But I have a feeling he is still out there somewhere." I let out a sob and tears came rushing down my face. Cole walked up to me and sat down. He put his arms around me and pulled me on his lap. We lay there for a few minutes, holding each other both heart broken. Finally I pulled back and continued :" My dad lost his job after punching a colleague, for asking about his son. He started drug dealing and never came home not being high. I learned how to take care of the children, and started taking care of the house. I cleaned, did the washing , cooked and helped them with work. I also work three jobs a week. I became the mother they had lost."
"So where are they now?" Cole asked The twins and Liam are staying at my aunts. I told her dad needed a brake, and that I had to study. She loved the kids and didn't mind taking them. They will be back tommorow." Cole looked down at the floor. I got up off his lap and turned around: " I understand if you  don't want to have anything to do with me." Cole looked up shocked then shook his head. He got up and slowly walked over to me. He pushed a loose Strand of hair behind my ear. Then he kissed me. My heart beat faster and I felt butterflies in my stomach. His lips were soft and warm and I loved every single moment of it. We both pulled away and smiled at each other. " I love you just the way you are Lili, and I will help you find your brother."

Cole's POV
She looked up at me full of hope. I smiled and quickly pecked her on the lips, then turned around and gathered her stuff. "lets go, before I get arrested for kidnapping you!" 
She then nodded then grabbed her coat.
I felt more happy now that she had told me her life story. Or maybe it was just because I kissed her. I chuckled.  We walked in silence. And I saw lili shaking, fear on her face. I grabbed her hand and she grabbed mine. We continued waking until we stood in her drive. There were no police cars or any people nearby, which was a good sign. " Thankyou, she said."
" oh no princess, I'm coming with you!" "What?  But.." before she could finish her sentence, I kissed her again. She  pulled away and I grabbed her hand, and walked in.
