I felt my heart beat faster as I watched him drive away, the sound of his Motorcycle echoing    Down the road. I unlocked the door and pushed it open. The house was silent, so I closed the door, took of my shoes, slipped into my pink fluffy slippers and walked up the stairs. The stairs creeped under me, reminding me of how run down our house is. I knew the house was way to dangerous for people to live in, but It wasn't mine. I took off my jacket and hung It up on one of the loose hooks hanging in the Cloak room. Well it used to be a Cloak room, now it just stores dads empty beer bottles. I turned around and tripped over one of those boxes and fell. I hit my eye against the side of the wall. I felt a sharp pain coming from my left eye. I layed there in silence, trying to not to panic. After a minute, I hauled myself up and walked over to the small mirror above the kitchen stove . It was the only mirror that wasn't smashed into a million pieces. My eye was bleeding, but luckily I hadn't hurt my pupil. I was lucky, I thought to myself , as I walked to the kitchen counter and opened one of the drawers. I moved my hand around, trying to find some bandaids. After a few minutes of searching,My left hand clutching my eye, which was not bleeding heavily, I grabbed my keys and walked out of the door. I closed it behind me and slowly, since I was in pain, walked down the road to the nearest pharmacy. I looked at a little sign attached to the glass door from the inside, with the times on it. "Shoot" I said, tears coming out of my eyes. I sat down on the steps and cried, not knowing what to do. "Are you ok?" Said a voice behind me. I turned around and saw a small but thin lady, with a white t-shirt and matching white trousers. On the right of her shirt she had a little tag, which read "Dr Huls". "I'm ok" I stuttered " I just hurt my eye and wanted to get some bandaids. "Of course" she said, "did u bring money?" I looked at her shocked then shook my head. I had left the house wearing just my slippers, and had my keys in the back pocket. "Come in" she said then unlocked the door. I followed her into the Pharmacy, which was unusually dark, and smelt different. They must out some kind of stuff in here, to make it smell good, i thought to myself. The lady turned on a little light on the side of a cupboard, then slowly pealed of the now soaked in blood. She then walked over to one of the many huge cupboards filling the room. She pulled out a little white box, and a piece of wool. She then moved to a second cupboard and pulled out a bottle of something rather and a packet of tablets. She put them all on the front counter and tapped some numbers. "You are lili Hills correct. I nodded but was confused. How did she know my name? You have come here a lot  lately lili, is something going on?" I shook  my head and put on my best fake smile. I was used to doing it , at school and outside my house. In my room was the only place I could be myself. "Ok lili that relieves me. You will have  to take these tablets three times  a day, and these eye drops twice a day. I would recommend to do this in the morning and evening. The eye drops will prevent you from getting a infection and the tablets are pain killers. I will now put on the wool and the bandage so stay still". I didn't move as she put the wool on my left eye, then stuck the bandage on top. I was not fully blind on my left eye." You will have to get used to this lili, if you have any troubles with sports or anything else, then come back and we will write a letter. You take the medicine and the tablets for a month and change the wool and the bandage every two days. When a month is over you should come back so we can set up a doctors appointment, to do the final check up. Is that ok?" I nodded and thanked her then walked home. When I arrived home I froze. The door was wide open and the light were on.  I screamed.
