Mission log
While scavenging the remains of the lab, a couple of journal entrys were found that were written by one of the scientists on his computer: john Adams and it would appear that before the time of his death, he had discovered something.

Month: March
Day: 13
Year: (data erased)It would seem that we strand corrected, this creature being held in our lab is NOT an extraterrestrial.
After studying its DNA more, there was a very close link with it and the Tyrannosaurus rex! No wonder it reminded so much of one!
However it still doesn't make sense, if it's closely related to a Tyrannosaurus rex, then that would it's an EARTH born animal.
But then how could it have gotten into space to fall back into earth?
Month: March
Day: 20
Year: (data erased)Today we discovered that what had fallen from the sky did not contain the embryo at all.
There apparently had been a fossilized egg somewhere under that ground and the asteroid just happened to land on that one one area, and what the astroid actually contained? It was only the goo that we had previously studied.
The egg must have still had some trace of fertilized yolk or embryo that was brought back into existence thanks to the properties of that goo. However that's all it did, it only brought it back to existence, not life and that's what we're doing.
----------------------------
We studied the substance to see if it had other special properties that could mutate an organism into something such as the way it looks now.
We discovered that the substance plays absolutely no part in mutating an animal like that, it can however bring the dead back to life, as long as there is still some form of viable DNA left.
That means that this creature must have already existed on earth, but there isn't any evidence that tells us about an armless t-Rex like creature with a human like head and large fish eyes.
Then it hit me, the t-Rex had some incredibly useless small arms, and it head had specifically evolved to tear through other dinosaurs flesh, but that was because it had evolved to do so with its prey being other dinosaurs with crazy adaptions.
However one thing dinosaurs, is that they lacked the intelligence of a human.
Now that humans are the dominate species...this is just a theory but what if it's some sort of super predator, and now that it's alive again, it's going to try to "evolve" to hunt humans?
Does this mean we'll finally meet our own natural predator?
