Nine months later;

"One more push Lyn! You're almost there!" Doctor Tsunade gives the soon-to-be mother a crooked smile. She had been in labor for thirteen hours.

Lyn nods frantically unable to speak, from the dryness in her throat, to the beads of sweat rolling down her face, to simply the unbearable pain of pushing out a tiny human.

"You're doing great!" Nurse Shizune compliments letting out a forced smile due to Lyn gripping her hand too hard.

Naruto would've been here to do it, but one look at the truth of birth giving and he was out like a light.

Lyn grunted in agony—

Hearing the cries of a baby.

"Congratulations it's a girl!" Tsunade looks up smiling, holding the tiny rather slimy baby girl.

Lyn sighs lying back down as her heart rate slowed down, closing her eyes she breathes in and out "can I see her?" Lyn mumbles.

"Of course, I'll get Mr. Uzumaki." Shizune softly nods.

Minutes later Naruto stepped in dashing to his wife. "Love, I—"

"Here's the newest member to your family." Tsunade whispers, carefully handing them their child.

The baby had ash brown hair, with two scared-liked whiskers on both sides of her cheeks with a sprinkle of freckles.

The greatest part of it all is when the infant opened her eyes—a shimmering sky blue glinting from the light.

"She's.." Lyn starts off though couldn't finish her sentence, choking up on her tears.

She's perfect.

"She's wow..y'know." Naruto voice cracks, grinning like a fool he pokes his babies cheek then the infant taking her small hand and grabbing his one finger.

"Do you have a name for the baby; Mr. And Mrs. Uzumaki?" Shizune asks holding up a clipboard.

"Reika." Lyn speaks up

"Reika Kushina Uzumaki." Naruto confirms.
