Chapter Five: Winter Break

Hello! This is pretty unusual for a girl, but I like to play MMORPG games. I like to play Dragon Nest if you know. I'm still stuck at level 21. It's pretty hard to level up at this stage. If you play MMORPG, comment me what good games to play. Okay, I give to you, chapter five :)

"Hey, Ikuto!"

"Why are you here?"

"Just came to see you."

"Wait, why are you here?!?"

I got up from bed hurriedly that made me trip. Amu laughed out loud. 

"Why are you here? Get out!"

"Don't worry! Your mom and dad left. I saw the note lying on the kitchen table."

"Phew. Wait, you entered our house?"

"You were so cute when you were young..."

"Amu!!!"

"Just kidding! I know your mom and dad left because I saw them but I don't know if they had a note. I entered through your window actually."

I remembered the memories when I was a kid. Whenever I got in trouble, I never wanted to face mom so I always climbed up that tree and entered through the window.

"Hmm.......monkey."

"What did you say?"

I burst out laughing.

Amu pouted. "I am not!"

"Yes you are!"

"No, I am not!" She stomped her foot that would make the house fall. 

"Sorry, ma'am!"

"Good."

"Anyway, get out for a second. I'll just change."

"Meet you outside." Then she jumped off.

"Heh, monkey."

I stripped and changed into my usual get up. After that I went downstairs, grabbed my bag and headed for the door. There was a note on the door. It read:

Dear Ikuto,

Mom and dad will be gone for the whole day. We want you to take care of the house.

That means NO leaving the house.

   Mom

"What? No!" I tugged the handle. It was completely locked. "Ugh..."

I heard tapping. I looked to my right to see Amu pointing upwards. "Go through the window." I heard.

"What? Heck no!"

"Or else you won't get to go outside." Amu crossed her arms over her chest and I think she's tapping her foot. "I'm waiting."

"Ugh, fine." I went back to my room and went straight to the window. I clutched my bag tight.

"Well, here goes." I jumped off the window sill and landed on the nearest, strong looking branch. I jumped to another and another and another until I reached the snow covered ground.

"Well, whaddya know. I found a cat in disguise." Amu clapped slowly. Weird.

"And I found a clapping monkey. What a discovery!"

"Ugh just stop it. Oh yeah, I'm going to show you a place." Amu grabbed my arm. "Let's go!
