Hellooo! I want to thank everyone one who read Who Will Win? It reached 500 reads! Thank you so much! So, I'm making this chapter longer than usual. So, here's part two of the cultural festival!
2 days left. 2 days left until the cultural festival. We were working our asses off. Class was delayed because of this. You know I'd rather work like this than take classes. This is better.
"Yaya! Rima! Make the heart bigger! Nagihiko-kun paint faster! Tadase-kun," Saaya stopped. "You're doing great!" I literally want to fall off a cliff. "Ikuto-kun! Continue please!" I started painting.
"Hey! Lemme help you with that. Take a break!" Kukai took the paintbrush from my hands and painted the cardboard heart red. "What are you waiting for? You're free!"
"Oh, oh yeah!" I left the room and went to the vending machine. I pushed some buttons, put in the money and took the drink from the vending machine. As I turned around, I saw Amu heading towards me. She stopped. Then she looked at my wrist. I looked down at my wrist and I think she was looking at the bracelet she made. She smiled at me. I smiled too. But, her smile faded and she ran off. What's wrong? I didn't even do something.
I sat down by the benches at the garden. I took another sip of my drink. I watched the azure sky above me. It felt relaxing. "Hey Ikuto!" Amu covered my face. "Amu?"
"What? C'mon! I'll show you something!" She grabbed my hand ad dragged me to the left side of the school, where the cherry blossom trees are. "I've already seen this Amu. It's just beside our classroom, see?" I pointed to our classroom. "I know, let's climb up this tree!" Amu started climbing up the tree. "Hey! Amu get down from there!" She didn't hear me. She climbed up that tree until she fell. I tried to catch her, but she was too heavy. Instead, she was on top of me, moaning. "I told you Amu not to." I pushed her away from me, avoiding another awkward position. "I better go." Then I ran off leaving Amu alone.
--------------
"Hey, Kukai. My turn. Switch." I said, getting the paintbrush from his hands. "No! Lemme finish this. Just this." Kukai got the paintbrush from my hands and continued. "Fine." Then I walked out. As I stepped out of the room, Amu was in front of me. "Ikuto, can we talk?" Amu had that look that made me want to talk to her. "Okay."
We headed out to the garden. "Ikuto, I'm really really sorry."
"I know that."
Amu looked at me with a serious look. "I'll.....give you a clue."
"A clue? On what?"
"Your maiden. I'll give you a clue about your maiden."
"Tell me now!" I was frantic.
"She lives here in this town. She loves to read books. She cooks. And...."
"And?"
"She loves you back."
"What? How did you know? You talked to her?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Where is she? Who is she? Tell me." Amu snickered.
"Find out for yourself." She stuck her tongue out.
"Aw come on!"
"Hehe. I'll tell you. I was just kidding a while ago."
I sighed. "Okay, tell me."
"She's..........Just kidding!" She stuck her tongue out. That despicable woman.
"You despicable woman! I'll choke you to death."
"Try me!" Then we chased each other like before. You can say we've reunited.
