After a while, Taehyung went up to the surface again to see if the man had left. Big mistake because the man was staring right at him. Taehyung widened his eyes as he blinked his eyes and looked everywhere, very lost as to what to do.

"Hey... what's your name?"

The man said as he continued to look at him. Taehyung stared for a while before saying quietly "T-taehyung... Kim Taehyung."

The man made a small smile and said "I see... I'm Jeongguk."

And from there, they started having a conversation. Taehyung sat on the sand with his tail in the water while Jeongguk sat beside him. They started asking each other basic questions about each other like favourite colour, favourite things. Jeongguk said he was the boss of a big company when he asked a question.

"What creature are you Tae?"

Tae looks at the sea sheepishly and replies.

"S-siren."

"That means you eat human flesh right?"

"W-well, not exactly."

Jeongguk raised an eyebrow at this.

"You see, i don't like hurting or killing people or animals so i prefer eating seaweed since its the only thing that is edible in the sea. Unlike the other Sirens, i don't kill people to survive since i can survive perfectly fine under the sea by eating seaweed. M-my friends also prefer eating seaweed than human flesh."

Taehyung continued as he fiddled with his fingers. Jeongguk made a small 'hmm' after he listens to this.

It was already night time and he needs to go soon, before Yoongi starts a very long and boring lecture about him and his carefree nature. "I'll be going now since i don't have time anymore." Taehyung said as he slowly slipped into the ocean.

He was about to go when his newly made friend called out to him. He turned his head around and saw Jeongguk getting ready to go too.

"Are you going to come tomorrow too? During the afternoon?"

Jeongguk asked as he looked at Taehyung in the eye. His heart fluttered a little when Taehyung smiled widely at him with his boxy grin.

"Yup. See you tomorrow! Bye Gukie!'

And with that, Taehyung dived into the sea, leaving Jeongguk. He made a small smile and started walking to his car. H started wondering if he should make that beautiful carefree creature his own.
