"What you said when you left just left me cold and out of breath"

OLIVIA WAS OUTSIDE PULLING out her phone to call Uber. Even though she only had one shot, she didn't want to get caught driving.

"Livy!" A masculine voice called from behind her. She turned to see Shayne. "Do you need a ride?"

"Well, uh, you drank a lot tonight," Olivia reminded him. He nodded.

"Do you want to drive me home?" Shayne asked. She smiled.

"Sure, but that means I'm taking your car home with me." He thought about what she said.

"You can pick me up, and we can carpool to work!" Shayne said, slightly slurring his words together. Olivia tried to hold back her smiled. He stepped closer to her. "And maybe we can karaoke too!" He whispered. She started to laugh.

"Sure Shayne, as long as we can listen to some early 2000's music," Olivia said with a smile. Shayne nodded.

"That's the best music!" He said, louder then he expected. She giggled and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go!" The two walked over to Shayne's car.

"I want to be like them!" A girl whined. The boy standing next to her sighed.

"Let's go Diane!" He said, grabbing the girl's hand.

"Don't they look so happy?" She asked. He nodded and she continued. "They're probably in love, and going to get married and have kids! I want us to be like them!" Diane continued to whine.

"Listen, I love you just as much as he loves her!" The boy explained. She smiled and the two walked away. Olivia turned to Shayne, who was still trying to get his keys out of his pocket.

"Did you hear them?" She asked. He looked up.

"Hear who?" Shayne asked.

"Never mind," Olivia mumbled.
