"Did you find her?" I barked, asking each of my men as they scattered around.

The search for Syrena went on for days and my men have no clue where she has gone to. Day and night, from morning to dust I've search for every possible way that Syrena would hide from me. We went to every section of the kingdom, every isolated areas, anything I could think of to where she is hiding. Now we are in the deep dark forest of Enchantia still searching.

Why is she hiding from me?

What did I do wrong?

Knowing the customs of my heritage as a Kaverin I've learn women submit and obey their husbands. Syrena is nothing like the women in Kaverin. She's delicate yet, feisty like her red hair. Her red soft hair, dances like an open fire would do, her eyes blue as the deep ocean that twinkles under the moonlight skye, and that voice of hers beautiful and harmonic music to my ears. I heard her sing once when she at the balcony of her room singing under the full moon and never been spellbound to her pure voice. Then something was off which I didn't catch on was her song felt of sadness.

That's when I realized she was happy here.

With me.

Shaking my thoughts about her I approached to one of my men as they scans the cave. Corporal Winslow, in charge of this group saw me. "Status report," he saluted.

"Anything?"

"Sorry, my lord, but she's not in the caves either."

I growled angrily which made him take a step back. I rubbed the temples on my head and let out a sighed. "Keep searching, I want her found and I want her captured. Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir," he paused then speak again, "I mean no disrespect sir, but what did this girl do to have the whole kingdom looking for her?"

"She stole something very valuable and I want it back." I answer in a hard tone.

"And what may that be sire?" He asked.

I slowly turn to face him with such glare he swallowed his fear. "Keep searching."

Winslow saluted abruptly, "Yes, sir! Men Keep searching or no rest for you."

I rubbed my head some more heading back to base. I entered my own space until I heard and annoying voice that's making my head feel much worst.

"Hey big man, how's the search coming along?"

I didn't want to look up because I knew all five of my brothers are here to see me in this state.

"Not in the mood, Lucas," I've taken my seat looking like my father's throne and threw myself on it with a big huff.

"You don't look too well," said Brendan, sounding too concern.

I snapped at him. "Of course I don't look too well. Syrena went awol on me and I don't know a god damn thing where she is. For all I know she went back home to marry that Fishman."

"You don't know that."

I looked at Brendan. " I do know. I scold her for not following her duty as a princess and called her a fool. It's my fault she left." I rest my elbows in my knees and face down on my hands.
