"NO. NO. NO." Evelyn mumbled in her sleep. She tossed and turned from her nightmare as she continued to repeat no over and over. The girl finally gasped and she sat up. Pan was fast asleep in the bed across from her and she covered her mouth to conceal her fast breathing.
The tears did not leave her eyes and she pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. It would never stop and she knew that. She knew her demons would always come to haunt her when she was alone.
It was so easy for Evelyn to forget everything she's been through when she's with the boys and Pan. It was easy to think she was worth something. But then now that she's alone it all comes rushing back to her.
