Scorpion runs across the street, through traffic as cars screech to a halt and honk at him. I jump off the roof and sling a web towards him. I land across the street, to avoid the traffic and not be a nuisance to society. "Come on, man!" I shout as he steps onto the sidewalk. "You couldn't have waited for the light to change?"

"Go away!" Scorpion shouts, swinging his tail at me again. I leap out of the way, pushing a few civilians away from harm.

"Dude, you're going to kill someone!" I exclaim, shooting a web at his tail and pulling him towards me. I sweep his feet out from under him, and he falls to the pavement.

"I'll kill you!" Scorpion tells me, struggling to get up. I knee him in the gut and web him to the wall of a building we're in front of.

"Please tell me that's going to hold you," I say. After struggling for a few seconds, Scorpion realizes my webbing is too strong for him to break out of. "Now, what happened to Osborn?"

"That bastard set me up!" He shouts, very angrily. "He knew this was going to happen! He tried to kill me."

"...But he was killed in the explosion," I explain. "There were only two survivors and you were one of them."

"He got what he deserved! He--" I cut him off by punching him in the face.

"Ok, I'm gonna stop you there," I say, as he falls unconscious. I wait around for the cops to show up, before swinging away.

I get home and decide to call Harry, to make sure everything is alright. "Hey, Pete," He says, noticeably distressed.

"Hey, man," I say, pulling off my mask. "How're you holding up?"

"I mean, I'm fine I guess," He says, in a monotone voice. "Really shocked...My dad's body just...vanished..."

"I--" I have to cut myself off before I tell him that 'I know'. "I'm sorry, man. That's awful."

"I know, Pete. It's weird, too. Bernard says we're still holding the funeral, though. It'll be Thursday. D-Do you think you could come?" Harry asks.

"Yeah, of course," I tell him. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Thanks, Pete," Harry says, sincerely. "I'm glad you're my friend."

"Th-Thank you, Har," I say. "I'm so sorry about what happened to Norman. Did you hear that Spider-Man caught the man that caused the lab accident?"

"No, I didn't," Harry tells me. "That's relieving, I guess. Anyways, I think I'm going to go. See ya, Pete."

"Goodbye, Harry," I say, hanging up. I strip out of my costume and stash it under my bed. I sigh, before putting on some regular clothes and leaving my room. "Aunt May! I need a suit for Harry's dad's funeral and the Fall Formal."
