Choice or Chance?

Chapter Four:

**Baekhyuns Point of View**

I keep my eyes closed as I wait for Brook to fall asleep. Once I hear her slight snoring and her breathing unsettling, I know it's safe. Carefully, I crawl off the bed and make my way to the door. I tiptoe across the room, as I hold my breath. Placing my hand on the door handle, I open the door ever so slowly and exit my room. Closing the door after me, I'm soon greeted by someone standing outside my door. I gasp in shock, but am relieved by the familiar face.
"What do you want Sehun?" I ask kind of annoyed. I mean, how long was he standing there for? He had a smug look on his face, as if he's up to something or knows I am. I wait for his reply, but instead he takes a sip of his coffee, and walks off. I knew he heard me and Brook, but I was cautious of the possibility of him knowing that I lied to him, along with the other members. I watch as his figure fades down the hall and into his bedroom on the other side of the house. Ignoring him completely, I walk angrily across the house and up the stairs. I storm into Chen's room and slam the door behind me. To my surprise he was laying back in bed. His hair was messy, and I could see his bare chest, indicating that I had just woken him up.
"What the fuck Baekhyun!?" He shouts at me from his bed. I ignore his words and say -
"We need to talk."
"What about? That so called whore in your room?" He replies. I could understand his aggression, knowing that the members have never kept a secret from one another, as we feel it'll divide us.
"I think you and I know damn well that she isn't any whore." I spit back, placing myself at the foot of his bed. He sighs and sits up.
"Yeah no shit Sherlock." A silence fell amongst the room. We both sat comfortably until he spoke up.
"Look Baekhyun... I get why you lied, we'd all be in big trouble if you just decided to bring any random stranger into our home. But I hate the fact that I have to keep your secret with you, causing me to lie to the other members too."
Before he could say anything else, I interrupt him.
"Is why I had to lie, could you imagine what SM would do? I could get kicked out of EXO." The silence returns to the room as the words slip out of my mouth. We both knew it was a possibility that could very well occur. I sigh, rubbing my face with my hands. "It's only for a couple of months, she'll be on her flight and back to California. Until then, just keep it between you and me." He chuckles at my words before shaking his head in annoyance.
"I was never going to say anything... imagine what that would do to the group, let alone our fans." He paused for a brief moment. Despite the situation I brought him into, Chen never thinks about himself, and instead always others, it's something I've been envious about him for a long time. "I won't say anything Baek, just... just be careful okay?
"I will, I promise." And with that said I sit up from his bed and leave the room. Once I left I'm once again greeted by another one of my members.
"Baekhyun Baekhyun!" He shouts in an whispering tone, invading my space.
"Yes?" I say confused at the slightly taller male.
He places a hand on my shoulder and leans in close. I could smell his suffocating cologne. His hair was wet, so you could tell he just got out of a shower.
"Sehun told me you had first bite of... that girl." He says hitting my arm while not knowing her name. I hide my aggression from my fellow member by chuckling. I don't want any of the members to touch Brook, but lying about the reason for her staying here was the only way I could still be around her.
"Guess I bet you to it, huh leader." I smile back, patting his back. I walk off from the conversation before my annoyance gets worse, and I start a problem between me and Suho. I hear his sight laugh behind me as I make my way down the stairs. When I arrive at the foot of the long staircase, I look across the lounge and at my door to find Chanyeol and Kai standing in front of it. I sigh, trying to contain my anger after Suho's episode and now this. I walk up to them carefully, not making a sound. Once I'm behind them, I try and think of something clever to say that would distract them from Brook.
"She's asleep."
Both boys jolt at my presence.
"We know, but why is she in your room?" Chanyeol asks.
I could hear the jealousy in his tone. He knew the answer, but just didn't want to except it. I've always had a mild hatred towards Chanyeol, he may be a fellow member, and I do very much care about him and his wellbeing. But he has always thought very high of himself, and compared his profile to me and the other members. Yes Chanyeol is talented, yes he plays multiple instruments, yes he was extremely attractive and had a voice any girl could drool over - but that didn't give him the right to put me and the other members down for it.
"You know why." Is all I say. A smile creeps up my mouth, as I watch his face drop. Kai on the other hand laughs and embraces me in a brother like hug.
"My man." He says, before he walks off.
Chanyeol and I continue to stand there staring each other off. He hesitates for a brief moment, before he too pats my back and walks off. I stare at my door and think. I enter my room and see Brook laid naked on my bed. Shes laid on her stomach, with the sheets just covering over her lower stomach. I gaze down at her from the side of the bed. Her light blonde hair covering her features, I reach my hand out and tuck it behind her ear. She hums at my actions and turns her head the opposite direction. A laugh leaves my lips and I sit on the bed. I reluctantly place my hand on her back, and shake her body. Knowing she's got to get up and eat something. She hums once again in protest, so I shake her harder.
"What!?" She yells with her long bed hair impersonating a birds nest.
"You have to get up, it's past midday and you have to go get your belongings from your apartment." I state.
This time I hear her hum in agreement, as she sighs and sits up, carefully hanging he sheets over her breasts. She stares at me until an awkward silence forms.
"You can leave now." She says boldly. I stare at her as I wait for her reason as to why she thinks I should leave MY room. "I have to get dressed don't I? And I'm naked here, while my clothes are over there." She says while pointing to herself then the opposite side of the bed. Knowing that she'll end up kicking me out anyway, I stand up and leave my room without a second word. I wait outside in the lounge until she is ready. Seconds later, I hear a knock come from the inside of my door. Curious as to why, I walk back to my room and enter. As I come through the door and close it behind me, I see Brook standing in front of me with the sheets around her. I look at her appearance and ask-
"What?"
"I have no clothes, I only have that dress, and I am not walking around Seoul in early hours of the day, in something like that." She states. She was correct. I did give her my jumper, but my pants - or any other members - would never fit her. I place my hand over my mouth and rub backwards and forth. I think for a moment before saying -
"What size are you?"
She stares at me with confusion but answers anyway.
"A size eight."
"Skinny leg or shorts."
"Skinny leg?"
I nod in approval.
"Okay, well I'm gonna go to the mall then, I'll buy you a pair of jeans, and you can just re-wear my jumper." I say as I grab my wallet and keys from the bedside table.
"What? No, you really don't have to do that." She says with a light giggle.
Ignoring her completely I say-
"You can take a shower while I'm out, it's down the hall and to your right. Oh, and eat something too." I leave the room and wonder to the front door.
"Where are you going?" I hear a familiar voice behind me say.
I turn around and fiddle with my keys as I see Sehun on the couch watching tv.
"Out, I'll be back soon."
He hums in return as he turns his attention back to the television. I walk outside the house and sigh, regretting leaving Brook unattended with him and Chanyeol.

Leaving it there! Right, what you guys think? I hope you liked my first attempt at Baekhyun's point of view. Next will be in Brook's again, and I can already tell it'll be a very long chapter as I have a lot of stuff planned for it — including a sex scene.
