i woke up. still, my heart broken.

its been months since i last saw her. its been months since i last touched her. its been months since i last saw her smile, her face. its been months since i last felt her lips touched mine. its been months since i became happy. its been months since i saw the old me. i miss my sophia.

i looked at my sidetable, seeing our picture together. ang saya namin dito, sana hanggang ngayon ganito kami kasaya. i got it and read her note for me.

hey love!! its a fanstastic day today! dont frown, just smile always. life is too short to be sad, aye? i'll be back!! have a great day, i love you so much!! ❤️

i can't help not to cry. i miss her, i want to see her right now.

after a few minutes or so, i went out of my room and went downstairs. "happy birthday kuya benj!" solana greeted me and gave me a hug, i smiled a bit and said thank you. she kissed me in the cheeks, she's so sweet, just like her. we both went to the kitchen, seeing my older siblings and my parents. "happy 16th, benj!!" they said in unison, i gave them a small smile. "thank you guys."

kuya donny went to me, "binata na ang bentong namin!" he teased and messed my hair. i groaned and shoved away his hand, which caused for him to laugh. "baby bro no more." ate hannah said and fake cried, i chuckled. ate ella went to me and gave me a hug. "happy birthday to my favorite brother!" she said and i laughed, kuya donny heard it. "how about me, ats?" he asked and pouted.

ate ella laughed, "just kidding. i love the both of you naman." she said and we did a group hug. "by the way, benj i'm giving you something later." kuya donny told me and i nod.

after eating my breakfast, i went up to my room and kept myself busy with playing on my ps4 or browse my social media accounts. after i replied to my friend's greeting to me, i opened our chatbox.

hi love!! it's my birthday today 🤗 remembeeeer? batiin mo naman
ako oh. i'm still waiting for your reply, everyday. i miss you so damn
much, love. walang araw na hindi kita iniiyakan. walang araw na
hindi ka pumasok sa isip ko, kung kamusta ka, if you have eaten
already, if you're still alive and kicking. umuwi ka na naman oh, ang
hirap ng wala ka dito, love. i didn't expect that you'll leave me, again.
you promised, diba? you promised that you'll never leave me again?

im trying to do what you told me, to be strong.
but i guess, you're my weakness, love. everytime
i'll see something or someone that reminds me of you,
i can't help to cry. even at school, you know what? natagtag
na ko sa varsity. pati sa honors, my friends told me i changed,
big time. how can they blame me kugn nasaktan ako?

i hope you'll come home na. i love you so much.

i sighed and turned off my phone. i decided to sleep.

i was peacefully sleeping, when someone was jumping up and down on my bed. "kuya! kuya wake uppp!!" it was solana, i groaned and hid myself under my pillow. "kuya is still sleepy solana." i told her, i felt her little hands held my arm. "but kuyyyaaaa, ate ella and kuya donny said we're going somewhere!" she whined. i opened my eyes and looked at her, "okay okay. i'll se you downstairs, alright?" i told her and she nodded. she went out of my room and i get ready.
