Ronnies POV

It's been two weeks now.  I think I'm ready to do this? But I have to do it with style. Looking into our bedroom, (y/n)s sleeping body lies in the silk blankets with Charlie sleeping beside her. Perfect. Quietly I write up a note of my absence when she wakes up and slip it into the night stand. Creeping softly, I freeze hearing Charlie growl in a playful and questioning way. "Shh! Charlie don't wake mommy. She doesn't need to know where daddies going today." I whisper harshly. Seeming to understand, the dog returns to sleep beside his new mother. Sighing in relief, I take a good look in the bathroom mirror. Black and red button up, brown blazer, black skinnies and a sweet ass pair of black wing tips to class things up. Today's very important. Not only is it a concert day, but a concert with a twist. Leaving the house, I decide to dial up Derek and Zakk telling them to meet me in town later.

"What did you need us for?" Says Derek as Zakk stands next to him. "Dude. It's finally time." I answer seeing his eyes grow wide. "No" "Are you talking about..." Zakk trails off knowing exactly what I'm talking about. "Fuck yeah. Do either of you know where I can get a motorcycle?" I ask. "What kind? And why a motorcycle?" Derek crosses his arms slightly confused by my request. "When I was seventeen, shortly after (y/n) and I started to kinda fall for each other, we went to the party I told you about and she owned an electric green Yamaha R6 bike that we drove to the party on. I want to recreate that night and ride into the show on that bike with her." "Damn dude that's sentimental as hell. We'll hook you up." I wave to Zakk and Derek as they leave. My heart is pounding. I'm going to do it. Leaving town, I grab a bouquet of white roses excited for tonight's concert.
"Beautiful! I'm home!" I chime in entering the house and patting Charlie on the head. "Hey babe-!" Without any hesitation, I pull her into a sweet kiss. My heart beats for her. I need her. "My you're happy." She giggled. "I am babe I am. I'm looking forward to tonight's show. It's going to be fucking amazing. But before the show...I thought we could spend a little bit of time together huh?" I pull the bouquet from behind my back smiling when she gasps. "Ronnie they're gorgeous!" Says (y/n) hugging me and putting the roses into a vase. "Not as gorgeous as you" I mumble under my breath. "I heard that" (y/n) laughs. "Go get dressed babe. Dress nicely well go straight to the show from our date." (Y/n) nods going into our room giving me time to call Derek. "Hey dude we got the motorcycle." He says. "Sweet, bring it to the old beach boardwalk about an hour before the show." "Got it" the line clicks just as (y/n) walks into the room dressed in a short blue skirt, black mesh long sleeved top and vans. "Ah. I feel...faint." I dramatically grab my chest. "What? Why?" "Because...I was struck...with beauty." (Y/n) slaps my arm softly as I stifle a giggle. "Mean. Where are we going?" Says (y/n) walking to the car with me. "Shhh. No talking you'll see" she rolls her eyes stepping into the car and leaving with me.
"Were here." The ocean waves and crashes softly against the white sandy Beach of the boardwalk, the place where (y/n) and I had our first date since we found each other again. "The walk? I love this place." Her (y/e/c) eyes gleam with excitement. "Well this place means a lot to us both. I also brought my board. Do you remember how to skate?" "No, can you teach me?" (Y/n) skates incredibly well. Teaching her the time we've dated has proven that. My emotions bubble from recreating something that means the fucking world to me. Stepping onto my board, she wobbles a little, whether it's on purpose to amuse me or for real, either way she grasps my shoulders while I wheel her down the boardwalk carefully. "Memories hm?" Her eyes narrow in my direction. "The best one actually. The day you stumbled back into my life is something I'll NEVER fucking forget." I give a cocky grin hearing her laugh. "Last I recall, Ronald, I "fell back into your life" the night of that concert when "Coming Home" was debuted. Remember the bloody nose?" (Y/N) grins halfheartedly. I'm sure the way we reconnected during that show could have gone a lot smoother..and without the asshole beating on her. "Yeah...I remember that part. I didn't want to, but I do." (Y/N) and I have grown into such a power couple that I can feel when her mood shifts just by when she looks at me. I don't even have to see her look. Its that eyes burning holes theory. She doesn't burn holes except when I slap her ass to be flirtatious. What I can feel right now is cold. Not bitter as in she's upset, but (Y/N) is growing upset. "no no Don't go cold. Todays a good day." Placing my pointer finger under her chin to raise it, I catch sight of her scorching (Y/E/C) eyes. All these feelings flood my mind. Phrases I've said from years and years ago. "I like walking with you." The first day I met her. "Damn. I've kissed a lot of girls but NEVER have I had a kiss like THAT." The first time I ever grazed her pink, lush lips. The memories kept coming and coming right in front of my eyes unraveling faster and faster.
