"Achoo!" a loud sneeze rung out through the humble abode of the newly wed couple.
Alan was in the kitchen, preparing a nice hot soup for his lovely wife when he heard the cutest sneeze emitted from the bedroom. Well, for him it was cute. But the wife says otherwise.
He was currently on a week off as the filming for the 6th Harry Potter movie has just ended, leaving him cuddling and pampering his wife all week.
But of course, viruses art thou a heartless bitch and decided to infect his wife early in the week. Alan had no choice but to take care of her. (And her tantrums.) Not that he's not willing to, but you get the idea.
Carefully, he set the bowl of chicken soup on the tray alongside the medicine and water. He made a bee line towards their bedroom when he heard another cute sneeze.
With a chuckle, he pushed open the door and took in the state of the bedroom. Crumpled tissues were scattered everywhere, boxes were equally scattered as well and a lump underneath the bedsheets told him that his wife was still breathing, thankfully.
Carefully, Alan placed the tray of food and medicine on the bedside table and sat on the edge of the bed, stroking his wife's arm.
"Love, I brought you breakfast, c'mon let's get you upright."
"Five more minutes, Daddy. " A soft grunt was heard under the covers.
Alan sighed, whenever she calls him that pet name his heart would seemingly beat faster. But this time, that didn't work for him.
"C'mon, upsie daisy, we don't want the chicken soup to go cold, now do we? "
"I hate you sometimes. " a cute glare was sent in Alan's way.
"I love you too, open up, here comes the airplane soup. "Alan said, with mirth dancing in his eyes.
For the rest of the day after Alan fed his wife, he carried her to the living room and let her watch her favorite movies, all in all pampering his sick wife.
It was in the middle of Sherlock when Alan heard cute snores on his side. He looked over to Y/N and smiled as he heard what she was mumbling.
"Thanks, Daddyyyyy. I wuuuuuuv youuuu. "

I'm sorry this was short, this chapter and the honeymoon chapter were supposed to be published way back Christmas but with relatives over, i couldn't finish this soon.
