It was My favorite time of year, Christmas. the nice cool breezes and the snow and the food! omg, the food. So, Me and Draco, don't worry were still dating and such but lately we've made a few really good friends with a second year named Ava, she was so nice and absolutely gorgeous. Although Draco was worried about her at certain times because she seemed to do a lot of dangerous things and go out after curfew. She didn't believe that Voldemort was back but that was okay.

"As your Prefect, I have to tell you to stop coming out of the castle after curfew! " I tell her, she rolls her eyes and giggles triggering me to giggle a bit. "We live in dangerous times, I've told you many times he who- Voldemort is back and is trying to get into the castle"

10:45pm
Its late at night and I'mwandering around the corridors when I turn a corner and run into a small girl. I look down to see a small girl she had blonde hair and strawberry blonde highlights she looks up at me and raises 1 eyebrow, I laugh,
"Ava! what are you doing out this late."
"I was just going for a walk around the black lake," she replies and walks off flipping her hair. I roll my eyes and continue walking around the hallways

4:30am
I wake up early to the sound of soft snow and cool breezes I look out the green tinted window and see its still dark I walk into the bathroom and take a cold shower scrubbing myself with peppermint scented body wash. when i get out of the shower I walk to my wardrobe and pull out

I walk over to daphnes bed, ours were separated by Christmas decor. I shake her a little. She groans. I turn on the lights and she groans even more. I drag her off the bed. she finally stands up and throws her pillow at me.
"Merry Christmas to you too. " I giggle. she walks into the bathroom and has a shower.

"Hey [y/n], Daphne" she smiles
"Merry Christmas!!!" I quietly yell, "wanna help us wake the boys?" she nods and we all walk into their bedroom
"On 3 we yell wake up," Daphne says, "1...2..3!!!" we all yell and they jump out of bed straight away.

5:36pm
We were all chilling in the Common room when Draco walks downstairs like nothing was happening. Ava stands up,
"I'm going to go for a walk." she walks out of the room, Draco kiss's me, smiles and follows her,
[Dracos POV]
my father had just owled me telling me to keep my friends inside, he wouldn't tell me why or who was at the castle but I trust him with my safety. I walk downstairs to see everyone talking next to each other and having fun laughs I overhear Ava,
"I'm going to go for a walk." I don't want to alert them so I kiss [y/n] smile and follow her, I knew she would understand.
5:58pm
She seemed to know where she was going, she was entering parts of the castle I wasn't used to. she still doesn't notice I'm following her. I see her walk outside. she was going to the owlery. I look up at the owlery and notice something not right. most of the owls are gone, I know its Christmas and everyone probably took theirs home but nearly all of the owls were gone and lots of people were staying here for Christmas. I see something black walk past a few of the windows. weird. she walks to the entrance and I hear a loud scream and she disappears. I9 grab out my wand and run. I see 3 death eaters. Antonin Dolohov, Amycus Carrow, and Yaxley. Amycus and Yaxley where holding Ava while Antonin was about to curse her.
"Well fuck,"I whisper to myself. I lift my wand.

8:30pm
I sit in the homeroom in my Slytherin sweater and socks from a few years ago. I'm getting a lot of Deja Vu sitting in between Draco's legs reading, he's in the same outfit as me. he starts playing with my hair not mentioning what had happened but I trust him.
