As they entered through the portal, the chilly morning breeze swirled around them - trying to take away every available section of warmth that covered them - but obviously failing due to the watches' shield, and temperature stabilizer.
There was much more to see around the building that lay in front of them. It was still the early morning, so nearby street lights lit up concrete pathways, and multiple traffic-lights scattered the corners of them, some even looking broken - and had fallen onto the asphalt road .
Many more buildings sat around the area, while the whole town seemed to be slightly blanketed in snow. Allyssa tried to look into some of the windows of the nearest buildings, but she could see nothing but pure darkness.
"So, where are we going, exactly? From here, I mean." Allyssa questioned, looking back at the portal as it shrank, then disappeared - behind them.
"We're going there." Chad answered, pointing to a distant building that sat on the corner of a street. They were at least ten meters away from the it, as Allyssa could see a sign that hung above a glass doorway - which was possibly the entrance into the building, itself. The sign faintly displayed the word 'BAR'. The entrance, itself, sat above five concrete steps. The whole building was at least two-stories high.
Allyssa noticed that some of the second-story windows were lit-up with a yellow glow - possibly coming from a light. She tried to look into the windows of the first-story, but all she could see was the reflection of the morning sky and pinkish clouds that spread across it.
As they walked towards the building, the road split into two ways - one left, and one straight ahead - making the road that they were following - head off into a nearby forestry.
But before it stretched off into the distant trees, an intersection was created - leading the road into two opposite areas - both left and right - which were guided by buildings that sat on either side of the roads.
When they arrived at the foot of the building, Allyssa noticed how worn it looked - as if it had sat through a rough, but quick battle of-sort. She suddenly realized that a building that sat a few meters away from it - on the other side of the road they had walked along - was completely brought to rubble, "heh, I know what you're thinking, Allyssa.
"That building over there used to be the Soup Shark. You see, we have events here-and-there, mostly being raids from assigned factions. An event was set a few weeks back, and...well, I guess you could say 'The Soup Shark Was No-More'."
"It's actually kinda sad since a raid had occurred a few months back, and the Soup Shark had been rebuilt after a raid that had taken place a few months from then, only to be destroyed once more."
"Ha, yeah." Chad said with an amused tone. As they walked into the building, A bright yellow-beige light shone from a singular light in the center of a large room, which stretched at least seven-by-seven meters, and three-and-a-half in height.
There were multiple tables, and chairs scattered around each one, while dark-brown wooden walls stretched across the area. A flight of stairs sat in far left corner, as a bar sat on the right of it, on the farthest wall - near the middle-left of it.
A small window lay available to curved seating on wooden slab-based walls (specifically created for the back of the seating cushions), as a round table sat in the middle of it. The seats themselves were also facing away from the window - placed against its wall.
A small table of at least seven unfamiliar people was placed in the near-center of the room. Most of them seemed to be boys - all at least Chad's age, or similar, while the youngest (and smallest) one there seemed to look like a young girl, possibly Allyssa's age, and very similar in appearance.
