My heart was pounding. My hand was sweating. My mouth was dry. There was silence for a minute. Then...
Everyone got up and applauded us and came over and gave me hugs. Joe gave me a hug, Q shook my hand and introduced himself and Murr just hugged me. Julia then went over to me and I introduced her to Sal. She didn't watch impractical jokers so she never saw any of them before.
"Emily was it? I'm Brian but you can call me Q. It's nice to meet you" Q told me with a warm smile. "Here, let me get you a drink" he told me as he walked to the bar intending me to follow.
I turned back around and shrugged my shoulders at Sal and he smiled and mouthed 'go on' to me.
"How long have you known Sal" I asked Q
"Near enough all my life. Since high school like 25 years!" Q said.
I was surprised.
"What do you want to drink?" The bar tender asked.
"A beer for me and" he turned to me.
"Orange juice"I said.
"And an orange juice for the lady" Q said. He laughed afterwards.

When we got our drinks we sat at the bar talking
"How did you meet?" He asked me
"Me and Sal" I asked realising afterwards that was a stupid question.
"Uh yeah" Q said laughing.
"Yeah sorry" I began laughing "in the cafe I work at" I told him.
"Nice" he said and he turned his head and saw Sal approaching him.
"Hey dude" Q said to Sal
"Alright babe" he said to me and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
Q smiled at us both and said "right then let's go and have some dinner"

We got to our table. Me and Sal say next to eachother. My sister was next to me, Q was next to Sal, Joe was next to Q and Murr was next to Joe.

We all scanned through our menus. I wanted to eat something nice, but not messy as that would be embarrassing so I thought a burger or is that to weird for a posh restaurant. Me and my sister turned to eachother in a way that we didn't know what any of the food was!
"What you having babe?" Sal asked me.
"I have no idea, maybe a burger" I replied.
He smiled and agreed and said
"I'll have the same"

"I'm going to have the lobster" Murr said. "I love going to red lobster so I'm gonna have the lobster."
"I'll have the chicken" Q said and joe nodded in agreement "me too" he said. They turned to me
"I'll have the burger" and my sister and Sal had the same.

We were all having light conversation and we explained how we met and then something odd happened. Sal said
"I just love her so much" and everyone fell silent.
It was awkward but Murr saved us by changing the conversation
"And who's this" he asked looking at Julia
"I'm Emily's sister" she said to them.
"From the uk?" Joe asked
"Yeah, Somerset"
She replied. They had no clue where it was but smiled and all muttered ooo nice
I couldn't help but laugh. My phone buzzed in my bag. It was a text from Sal. I looked confused but opened it anyway
Sal: how's it going? Do you like them? Xx
Me: yea they are great
Sal: good 😘

My sister was talking to mainly Sal most of the night and I was talking to all of them. 11:30pm rose upon us and we all agreed to make our way home.
"We should do this again" Joe said
Everyone agreed and made their way home.
"I'm just gonna pay" Sal said to me. I nodded and picked up my bag. It dropped onto the floor and before I could pick it up Q picked it up for me
"Thank you" I said as I took it. He gave me a warm smile and I couldn't help but smile back. Q is so nice and friendly and we've only known eachother for a few hours.

After Sal paid for our meals he made his way back down until my sister who was quite drunk jumped out in from off him.
"My goodness " he shouted whilst getting his breath back.
"Hey sel I mean sa.. what was your name.?" She asked mumbling her words
"Sal" he replied.
"Your cute you know" she said and leaned in to kiss him.
He turned red. He was unsure what to do. "What if Emily finds out?" He thought. He saw Murr walking past and mouthed help to him.
"Uh hey Julia let's get your stuff" Murr said to help Sal out.
Sal was debating wether to tell me or let it slide so he asked Murr for help.
"I would tell Emily. She will understand and probably find it funny. If she finds out that you kept it from her she might wonder why you was hiding it" Murr explained. Sal nodded in agreement and rubbed his neck and walked over to me where I was still talking to Q.
"Right then are we ready?" Sal asked.
"Yep" Q replied
"I am" I said.

As Murr left with Joe, we decided to give Q a ride home as he was drinking whereas me and sal didn't. We all got in the car and Julia came along. I turned on the radio and Sal was looking stressed.
"What's up?" I asked him curious of why he looked stressed out.

"See a weird thing happened to me earlier. I was talking to Julia and she said.." he began. He turned around and saw her asleep next to Q, Q was smiling at me.
"Uhh she said I was..." he said. "C...funny!" He blurted out.
"Well that's nice. I think she likes you" I said smiling.
"No no way she doesn't like me why are you saying that!?" He shouted.
"Wow okay sorry" I said and giggled.
He gave a nervous laugh as we approached Qs house.
"Right then Q" Sal said.
"Thanks for dinner and the lift home Sal and it was wonderful meeting you Emily" Q said to us.
"It was amazing meeting you too" I said with a warm smile.
As Sal was about to drive off Q came running back to the car and opened my door.
"Hey I wanted you to meet someone " Q said
"Oh god" Sal said with a laugh
"It's Benjamin! My cat"
"Aww" I said "he's mega cute" I added.
"What!" Sal said surprised.
"Right I'll let you go now but I wanted you to meet him" Q said.
We began to drive off as Sal was taking me and my sister home.
She slowly began to wake up as we reached my house.
"Thanks babe for a wonderful night out" I aid to Sal as I kissed his cheek.
"No problem...about what I was gonna tell you earlier..." he began.
He stared into my big blue eyes and just said
"I can't remember " and laughed nervously.
"Alright then. Text me when your home" I said.
He nodded and me and my sister went into my house.
"Right then Julia you go in the guest bedroom upstairs and on the right. Night" I said to her.
She just waved at me as she went upstairs to bed.
I stayed up and watched a little TV and waited for the text from Sal just so I know he's safe.

Sal: I'm home xx
Me: ahh good 😘 thx for a lovely night xxxx
Sal: no worries xx how's Julia?
Me: in bed asleep why? Xxx
Sal: just wondering xx
Me: I'm going to bed now night xxx
Sal: night xx love you xxx
Me: love you more xxx
Sal: impossible xxx

I headed off to bed as I had work in the morning.
