Chapter: 19

Ryan's POV

"IT WAS WHO!? FUCKING SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!"

"Okay okay! it was Kate..." He trailed off, instantly looking away.

The amount of anger I had built up inside me wasn't healthy, I just need to calm down. Who the hell am I kidding!? My ex girlfriend paid my music producer to kidnap and try to kill my girlfriend? That's not going to fly.

"Are we still going to be friends?" Jason looked at me as the cops put him in the car.

"No" I give a straight answer.

He's so dumb. I can't believe he doesn't know that I'm the one who called the cops. As soon as I saw him walking, I called. He still doesn't even know this little thing was a set up.

Ian's POV

I just landed in Nashville, and Haleigh is staying with me for a while. We've gotten pretty close lately, and I really like it.

Taylor's POV

I slowly begin to open my eyes, and all I'm seeing is pure blur. Nurses are surrounding me and I have no idea what is going on, but my body feels really weird. Next thing I know everything goes black.

I wake up to see Ryan sitting beside me, holding my hand with his head down.

"Ry?" I weakly speak.

"Baby! oh my God you're okay!" He looks up, wiping his tears and placing a kiss to my lips.

"What happened?" I say, still barely able to speak. "And why am I hooked up to so many different machines?"

"You have tetanus, from the metal rod" He said trying to hold back his tears. "They said there's a chance that you may not make it because of how bad it is" He bursts into tears.

"Hey look at me, it's okay! I have everything I need right here. I love you so much Ry" I place a kiss to his lips.

"I can't be without you, I love you more than anything in the world, Taylor, please don't leave me!" He starts to sob even harder.

My body begins to feel completely numb, and I have no idea how it just happens. I try as hard as I can to keep my eyes open, but I can't. They slowly begin to close.

Ryan's POV

Taylor is starting to fall asleep, so I figured, hey, I might as well sing her to sleep.

"Days go by, and yeah I've got you on my mind, I gotta keep you with me"

I was about to continue, but the monitor measuring Taylor's heart beat went totally flat.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...

Was all I heard. Nurses begin to rush in and take her away. I am completely broken, and crying harder than I've ever cried in my entire life.

I leave the room and immediately begin to call Haleigh and her parents and tell them what is going on. I had just lost the love of my life, and Kate is going to pay for it, big time!

Once I get off the phone, I hop in my car and begin to drive to Kate's house.

*Ding Dong*

"Ryan! I knew you'd come back for me! I love you so much!" she practically threw herself onto me.

"GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" I yell.

"Babe, what's wrong?" she caresses my face.

"First of all, I'm not your 'babe', second of all, don't fucking touch me, third of all, I know what you did"

"Why are you here Ryan? and you don't know shit!" She sasses me.

"Oh I don't!? Are you sure!? Because Jason told me everything!"

"Fucking dick" she mumbles under her breath.

"What was that?" I smirk.

"Whatever just get out of here, unless you're coming to take me back, I don't want to see you!" she points to the door, gesturing me to leave. " Go back to your ugly ass girlfriend!"

"I WILL NEVER TAKE YOU BACK! WHY CAN'T YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND THAT!? AND DON'T EVEN BRING HER INTO THIS!" I yell back.

"And why can't I bring her into this Ryan?" She smirks.

"She's gone okay! You fucking killed her!" I yell a little less loudly.

"That's just God telling you we were meant to be" She twirls her fingers in my hair.

I smack her hand away from me. "You're fucked up!" I yell, slamming the door behind me as I leave. I just

can't believe she's actually gone...
