Chapter: 31

Haleigh's POV

I've been spending so much time trying to plan this wedding, every free moment I get, it's just wedding wedding wedding and more wedding. But honestly, I don't mind. Taylor and I have been spending a lot of time together recently, both of us planning our wedding. So far I have my bridesmaids dresses done, and I booked the venue. I just need to get decorations and a cake and hand out invitations then I'm done. Ian and I decided to have our wedding on the 10th of August, late at night. Today is the 1st of August, so I don't have much time left. Taylor, Alyssa and one of my good friends, Kaylin are going dress shopping today and I couldn't be more excited!

We just arrived at the boutique where I'm getting my dress, and there are so many beautiful dresses! I've always been confident in my own skin, which always annoyed Taylor because apparently I was 'cocky about it'. But this should be a breeze!

~About 15 minutes later~

I tried on around 3-4 dresses, but I didn't like how they looked. Some of them were way to plain, but some weren't plain enough. Then I saw this one dress. It was absolutely perfect. I went to try it on and I loved how it looked, so I ended up buying dress number five.

~Back at home~

Now that I have everything done, I can just relax. The only thing I really have left to is write out my vows.

Taylor's POV

I've spent a lot of time trying to get MY wedding together, but every time I sit down to do something, Haleigh calls me, asking me to help her do something for her wedding. Now that Haleigh's wedding is done, I can finically start working on mine.

I sat down at the island, and got out the box, and the folder with everything in it. As soon as I lay everything out and begin, my phone rings. I pick up my phone and look at the caller ID before answering it. Are you kidding me? I thought out loud to myself as I answer the phone.

"Hey Haleigh, what can I do for you?" I ask sarcastically.

"Actually, it's kinda important, I have a really really big favour I need from you"

"Why am I not surprised! Alright, I'll grab my stuff and be at your house soon"

"You don't need to go anywhere!" she chuckles through the phone.

"Then what do you need me to do?"

"I wanted to know if you'd be the maid of honour at my wedding"

"Oh my gosh! Of course I will!"

"Oh thank god! I kept thinking that you would say no"

"Why would I say no?"

"I don't know"

"Well I have to go do wedding stuff, so I'll call you later"

"Do you need any help?" Haleigh actually offered to help me.

"Oh uh, sure! Pop over whenever! Ryan's at the studio again today"

"Alright I'll be there in about ten minutes"

"Alrighty" I then hang up the phone, and begin planning.

~8 days later~

Nothing important has really happened over the course of the week. I've mostly just been helping Taylor and Ryan with their wedding. Mine on the other hand, is tomorrow. Taylor, Alyssa, Kaylin, Ashley, Harlee, and I just got back from the spa.

It's just me and Ian now... He made me a big home cooked meal, and dessert. Some shit went down after that.. But it tired us both out, and off to sleep we went.
