Michaels POV

"Hey Michael are we still celebrating your one year at Achievement Hunter?!" Ray exclaimed. "Why wouldn't we?" I muttered. "Are we gonna play some video games? I wouldn't mind playing some team games like zombies." I looked around. Geoff, Ray, Jack and Ryan. Ever since Ryan joined a few months ago (Achievement Hunter that is) we've had an odd number of guys so it makes it hard when we try to play team games.

Jack spoke out. "Your place tonight right?" I nodded. "Around 8:00pm cause I need to grab some things from the store." I grabbed my beanie and put it on. "Ray, you want to go to the grocery store with me to get some bev's and snacks?" I grabbed my keys. "Sure, dude." He grabbed his jacket and slid it on zipping it up almost all the way. "Oh, I placed an order for a cake there, it's all payed for you just need to pick it up, okay?" Geoff exclaimed. "Sure dude." I nodded.

We arrived at the store and I went to my usual spot of the store where the chips and dip were located. And then we looked around for party foods.

When we had more than we needed we walked to a check out lane. "Ray, remember Geoff had ordered a cake here so go over to the bakery and get it, okay? I'll stay and pay." He nodded walking in the other direction. I placed all of my things on the belt as it began to move towards the cashier. Unlike the usual cashier I get; an older man or woman, I was greeted by a younger man, probably my age; with an abnormally large nose and messy light brown hair. I was in a trance until he spoke out. "Hello! Did you find everything you were looking for today?" He said in a british accent. "I-I did, thank you." I blushed a little thinking he noticed me eyeing him. He smiled noticing my shirt. "Ah! Minecraft? That game is absolutely top!" He continued to scan the items. "Oh, you play?" I looked down at my shirt. It was a plain black shirt that had Minecraft written on it. "Absolutely!" He continued. "I actually play a lot of it." He blushed a little. "It's just so much fun." He finished scanning the last thing. "Alright, your total is 46.57..." I handed him my money. "Michael, my name is Michael." His hand slipped dropping the money. "Oh, buggar." He tried to grab the money before it hit the floor making me laugh. He came back up, his cheeks a light shade of red. I covered my mouth to stop from laughing. "Sorry about that, Micoo." "Its fine, but my name is Michael." He gave me a confused smile. "Thats what I said, Micoo!" He giggled. "Here's your change!" I reached my hand out grabbing it from him. He turned around to grab my receipt out of the machine and wrote something on it before handing it to me. I grabbed it from his hand and shoved it in my pocket. "Have a great day, Micoo!" "Yeah you too, clumsy." I smirked making him blush.

Ray approached me. "Dude, I can't believe you made me wait for the cake, y'know I hate that shit." He held it out awkwardly in front of him. "Shut the fuck up, Ray." I nudged him.

We started to walk out, I looked back at the cashier. He continued to fumble trying to recover from his mistakes making me smile in the process.

I got home around 7:30 with Ray waiting as everyone slowly showed up. We all had cake except, Ray claiming, 'He was going cakeless'.

We all had fun throughout the night and everyone chatted with one another. We played a few rounds of zombies before Geoff made a nice toast about me being there for a year and how happy he was that they hired me. Even though I had been surrounded by all of my friends, I couldn't stop thinking about that cashier; his messy hair and those friendly green eyes. 'What am I thinking, I don't even know him. I don't even know his name.' I blushed. 'Why can't I stop thinking about him. The way he made silly mistakes or the strange way he talked, which was slightly annoying.... And slightly attractive.'

It was around 11 when everyone said their congrats and left.

I was changing into something more comfortable when a slip of paper fell out of my pants pocket. I picked it up and read it.

Add me on Xbox Live if you have it @GavinoFree :)

I blushed before running to my living room to turn on my Xbox.

I successfully added him, turned off my Xbox and went to my room. I sat my glasses down on my the side table and laid back on my bed. 'Hmm GavinoFree? Maybe his name is Gavino? Or Gavin.... yeah, Gavin. He definitely looks like a Gavin.'
