Hey! Look who is trying new things here. 

Well, for those who doesn't know me, I am Mari Veiga, a brazilian writer that loves to try new things. I have a website called GrupoHPM which is also a publisher for digital publications. All our publications are LGBT themed. Of course. :) 

In the beginning of the year I moved from Brazil to Dublin, where I live right now with my beautiful fiancé. That's why I decided to try this new story, in english. Actually, this story is not so new. This is a book that I wrote a few years ago and now I am translating it. It is not big, but I am thinking about write some more chapters in the translation process. Let's wait and see. 

First of all, I am already apologising for all the mistakes that probably will be in the story. Let's help a friend and point them out, ok? Thanks a million! 

If you are going to fall in love with me, it's fair that you know who you are falling in love with. You are falling in love with my insecurities, and my obsession in trying to figure out what everyone thinks about me. You are falling in love with my immaturity, my constant need to feel loved and appreciated, my overactive tear ducts, my internet obsession, my tendency to be too clingy. You fall in love with my troubled past, my hopes and dreams, and how I'm a hopeless romantic. If you fall in love with me, you fall in love with my self-hate and all my imperfections and my perception that nobody could ever love me. But, you are also falling in love with the way my eyes will smile when I'm with you, the way I'll text you in the mornings just telling you "I hope you have a great day". You're falling in love with the occasionally humourous and/or thought-provoking things I say, and the way I blush when people ask me about you. But to me, the most important thing will be that you are falling in love with me, despite my thinking that this is almost impossible.
