It stood there watching me with hatred mixed with amusement as I struggled to escape from its huge claws. However, being unsuccessful – I slow my escape and decide to just wait for death. But nothing happens, no pain, no cold liquid flowing away from its river which laid under my skin. As I stare at the creature I start to think how I ended up here under this huge beast.

Thunder echoes loudly through the moonlit night even distilling the heaviest of sleepers as they lay lazily in their beds. We slowly and groggily came to stand – some taking longer than others as we move towards the exit of this run-down tent that we call home.

Stepping out I struggle to fight against the raging wind which seemed more eager to remove us from our path than It was earlier in the night thanks to its new-found rage. The sky was covered in a silk blanket made of a dark, grey, and evil substance. We stood there as the dark sky was blocked as the storm slowly cages us like birds in a cage, removing any escape that we tried to reach.

ROAR!!

Suddenly, a loud roar is heard causing more than just a few heads to look around searching for the sound that makes our blood curdle. The reason we fight, why we live and why we must survive. A creature that was once lost in legend to us.

A tall winged creature with fire laced in its breath and sword like claws that somehow glimmer in the sunlight when I seeped through the darkness. Skin that is as hard as a tanks honourable armour making it impenetrable to bullet fire. Blood red eyes that glow in the dark giving it another advantage over our small unprotected bodies. These creatures in legend are called 'Dragons' – however, in this new age where they have returned we call them 'HELL'.

Thud!

I am brought out of my thoughts by a loud thud which echoed around the cell. I slowly turn to face the devil but as I turn fear, worry and anger filled me. There where once stood my friends and comrades now only held a lake of blood and the small pieces of residue from the now fallen soldiers.

I slowly yet even more cautiously than before turned around and my entire entity froze but shook from the sudden spike of fear that was running over my skin screaming at me to run, I couldnt, I just couldnt. I felt like I was trapped between those evil eyes with no escape. How? Why do they do this? These questions lingered on my mind as I stare up at the creature trying to hide my fear. But because of the weird animalistic smirk that it was holding I could tell I was unsuccessful.

It suddenly pounces forward pushing me down. As I groan from the pain that now resides in my back the creature olds me down refusing to allow movement from me. This is where I am laying in the thick mud with blood flowing over my skin – both my own blood while so of it is not.

I stare up at the beast unwavering when it stares back a small amused smile marking its face. This creature in front of me doesnt want peace. Neither does it want power. It kills for fun because it can. These creatures are humanities undefeatable enemy. They are my enemy.
