Chapter 5- Cali's Date

Rocky's POV

After Cali hugged me, I couldn't help but feel butterflies. I then thought of when she said she had a date with Jason Williams.

Then I started to get angry. Stupid Jason Williams.

Ana's POV

I was in eighth period waiting for the clock to hit twelve so I could finally leave class. Cali was coming over today and wanted me to help her with her date outfit. Again.

We have been working on it since the day she got asked out. The clock finally hit twelve and the bell rang.

Everyone rushed out of class and into the hallways to their lockers. Once I got to my locker, Carolina rushed up to me and started talking about a video game.

"Guess what?", she asked excitedly. "What?", I said while digging through my locker. "Rocky Is letting me borrow his new Call Of Duty game!", she says happily.

"Cool", I say not really caring. I promise you, this girl LOVES video games. We are so different. Cali is kind of a mix of both of us, she's girly and boyish.

"Hey", she says while swatting me playfully. I laugh. "Well I'm not that into video games.", I say. She rolls her eyes and smiles.

"Okay, well Cali says she needs you or Delly to help you with her outfit for her date. She asked me but I said I was going to the Lynch's to play video games with Rocky and Ryland."

,she explains, while I laugh. "Okay so your going home with the Rocky and Ryland?" "Ya", she answers. "Okay, well Rydel is coming over to help with Cali's outfit.", I explain. She nods.

"Okay well I'll see you later! Tell mom that I went to the Lynch's and will be back by five!", she calls over her shoulder while going to find Rocky or Ryland.

I laugh while shutting my locker. I'm about to leave but then I hear my name bieng called. I turn around and see Ellington.

He waves and I wave back. "Hey Ell, what's up?" "I was wondering if I could walk you home?", he asks with a hopeful smile. I smile back. "Yah, sure!", I nod and start walking with Ellington out of school.

Once we started walking, Ell started to talk. "So, what's up with you and Ross? You seem sort of weird around him.", he says out of nowhere.

Uh, what do I say to this? Should I tell him? "Oh, um nothing, so, do you wanna do something Sunday? Just the two of us?", I asked hopefully.

I "I thought you were going to hang with Delly?" "Well ya, but we can hangout another time. We never really hangout so I think it would be cool if we hung out.", I explain.

"Oh we'l in that case than ya!", he says while looking at me smiling. I smile back. On the rest of the walk home, we talk and laugh. Once we get to my house, we say goodbye and he heads home.

"Oh Ellington! Thanks by the way!", I call after him. He looks back and says, "No problem!" I smile and head inside my house.

Cali's POV (Later That Night)

I was in my living room with Ana, Rydel, and Carolina telling them about my date.

I walked into the restaurant hand in hand with Jason. He made a reservation at this fancy restaurant that I've never heard of. The lady led us to a table and did our waiter would be with us in a few minutes.

Jason and I sat down and talked and waited for the waitress. I found out that I now like Jason even more than I did.

Once we got our food. We ate and talked and got to know each other better. Once he dropped me off me at my house, he asked me the question.

"Cali, will you be my girlfriend?", he asked. I smiled and nodded eagerly. He then leaned in and kissed me.

"So that's what happened", I explained. They all sat there in shock. "Oh I'm so happy for you Cali!", Rydel squealed. Ana gave me a hug and said, "Oh! I can't believe it!", Carolina started smiling really big.

"Oh Little Cali has a boyfriend!", she said in a baby voice. I laughed. I have great friends.
