Chapter 9- Surprises

Ana's POV

After yesterday's day with Ellington, I couldn't help but really want to see him. I got out of bed and got ready for school happily. After getting ready, I waited for my sister in our living room to go to school. Carolina walked down the stairs shortly after I got down there. I looked up from my phone and smiled.

"Good morning!", I say happily. "Good morning? Why are you so happy?", she asks walking over to me smiling. "No reason", I sigh happily. She rolls her eyes. "Okay... Let's just go to school." I nod then put my phone away.

"Bye Mom!", we scream at once. Once we walk outside, we see Cali sitting on our porch texting. "Hey Cali",I say. Cali doesn't say anything she just keeps texting and giggling.

"Earth To Cali?", Carolina waves her hand in her face. She doesn't budge. "Cali?", I say a little louder. (ha LOUDER😜) "CALI!", Carolina screams. Cali jumps. "What?! Did you say something?", she looks up. "Ya, I said 'Hey Cali' ", I explain. "Oh, sorry. I was texting Jason.", she says all smiley and giggly.

I roll my eyes and smile. I catch a glance at Carolina and see she is looking down. I couldn't help but want to know what she's thinking about. "Let's go, guys, I don't want to be late to school.", I explain. They both nod and we start walking to school.

Ellington's POV

I had the best time yesterday with Ana! It was a really great day. I'm happy we got to know each other better yesterday, but I want to know more. She is just so interesting, and cool, and nice, and sweet. I could go on but it would probably take at least ten minutes.

I decided that to get to know her better, there was something important to ask her. Just hopefully she says yes.

Ana's POV

I walked into school with my two best friends and then headed to our lockers. Well, Carolina and I did, Cali went straight to Jason's locker. I grabbed my books then headed to home room. After getting to home room, I sat in my seat and started talking with my friends.

"Hey Ana!", I looked to see who had called my name, and realized that it was Ellington. I smiled and he genuinely smiled back. He walked over to me with his books clutched to his stomach. And sat down in the seat beside me. "What's up?", I ask. "The sky.", Ell says. I laugh and smile at him.

"Seriously though, I wanted to let you know, yesterday was a fun day, and I want to do more stuff like that, so, will you go on a date with me?", he asks hopefully. I smile and nod. "Yes, I will go on a date with you.", I answer. He grins widely. "So, when do you want to go on this date?", I ask. "How about... Friday?", he answers. "Yah, that would be great." He smiles widely.

I cannot wait for this date.

At Lunch (Still Ana's POV)

I walked into the lunchroom looking for Cali, Carolina, or any Lynch, when I finally spotted Cali at the cash register buying her lunch. I walked over to her at a fast pace because I could not wait to tell her the news. "Cali!" Once she spotted me, she smiled. Once I got to her, I started smiling like an idiot.

"What? Tell me!", she says excitedly. She can tell by my facial expression something's up. "Okay, well let's get Carolina and Delly, then I'll tell the other Lynch's later." "Okay, well let's find them!", we scan the room for a brunette girl who talks constantly about video games, and a blonde with sparkles in her hair and wears pink most of the time.
