Today, Inuyasha and the gang were following a new lead on Naraku's whereabouts and Aimi and Inuyasha were fighting once again. "If ya want to fight then let's have at it!" Inuyasha barked. Everyone except the two dog demons sweatdropped.
"You're always so annoying," the golden yellow-eyed demon sighed. "Do you seriously think a mutt like you could actually hold his own against me? How foolish," Aimi looked at Inuyasha with a deadpan expression. "If you truly want to fight then fine-"
"Oh no, you two don't," Bellatrix cut Aimi off as she grabbed one of each of the dog demon's ears. "You two are going to cut this fighting crap right now! We have more important things to do than to watch you two act like petty children!" the lynx demon hissed. The two canines gulped and looked at Bellatrix in fear. "Now then, let's continue on, shall we?" the feline released the two and walked off as though nothing happened.
"Kagome? S-she's kind of scary, huh?" Shippo asked shakily. The teenage girl replied with a nod as she sighed.
"True but at least she's keeping those two under control," Sango, Miroku, Kirara, and Shippo all nodded in agreement at this.
"We can hear ya, ya know," Inuyasha grumbled walking passed them. Aimi just glared at them as we walked by them.
Later that day the gang had stopped by a nearby village to rest. "You guys go ahead and rest. I'll be on lookout," Bellatrix offered. Inuyasha grumbled while the rest of the gang gave her a nod. The gray-haired feline left the little hut and jumped up onto a nearby tree. 'We're getting closer. I can sense it. Soon...Soon I will avenge my clan.' the feline thought as she looked up at the night sky.
"Ya know you're not doing a good job of keepin watch if all you're doing is looking up at the sky," Inuyasha said walking towards the tree with his arms crossed. Bellatrix chose to ignore his comment.
"I'm gonna take a guess and say you couldn't sleep?" the lynx demon questioned, closing her emerald green orbs before reopening them.
"You can say that," the silver haired male said in reply. Bellatrix gave a nod of acknowledgment before turning her attention back towards the sky.
"Hey, Inuyasha?" Bellatrix called still focused on the sky. "Can you tell me more about this Naraku?"
"I don't know all that much but apparently he's a thousand demons that devoured the soul of a crook named Onigumo. He enjoys toying with people and is after all the shards of the Sacred Jewel," Inuyasha explained.
"I see...So I'm guessing he's done something to you as well?" the lynx girl questioned.
"I guess you can say that. It's not somethin I enjoy talkin about," he replied. The feline gave a nod.
"I understand. Well, it's a good thing we're so close to finding him. Then we can all make him pay for all his wrongdoings," she replied, smiling softly.
The next morning the gang was once again traveling. "So which way are we going now?" Kagome asked, stretching out her arms.
"West. I can somewhat catch his scent towards that direction," Aimi replied. Everyone gave her a nod and walked west. We were about an hour and a half of our journey when Inuyasha, Aimi, and Bellatrix stopped in their tracts.
"Someone's coming and they're coming fast," Bellatrix said as Inuyasha got his tetsusaiga. Suddenly Inuyasha was sent fly on his face as a familiar figure appears in front of Kagome and takes her hand in his.
"H-hi Koga," Kagome greeted while she sweatdropped.
"Get your filthy hand off her!" Inuyasha yelled as he swung his sword at the wolf demon. Koga swiftly dodged and jumped back.
"Heh stay out of it mutt. She's my woman so I can touch her if I want," Koga said. Kagome blushed lightly.
"I-I never agreed to that!" she squeaked. Bellatrix was not only slowly losing her patience but also feeling slightly hurt since she's gained a slight crush on the wolf demon and he seems to only have eyes for Kagome.
"Excuse me, but we were doing something and you're getting in the way. Obviously, she's not interested so just do both of you a favor and move on. Honestly, it's quite clear who she would choose if she had to pick who would be her lover," the feline said, sending Koga a harsh glare.
'What's with her? Why is she glaring at me like that?' the wolf demon thought to himself. "What's your problem miss kitty?" he taunted. A tick mark appeared on her head.
"What's my p-problem?" the feline repeated shaking in anger. "My problem is that we're trying to find that bastard Naraku to make sure he pays for everything he's done and here you are getting in our way just because you can't get that she's not into you through that thick skull of yours!" she hissed.
Koga looked at the feline with wide eyes completely taken back by her outburst. Bellatrix sighed deeply. "Come on. We're not wasting anymore time on this. I refuse to allow Naraku to escape," she snapped, walking on. The rest of the gang gulped and followed.
"It's amazing how one second she's all happy-go-lucky and then the next she's everyone's worst nightmare," Aimi sighed. "Hey, Koga," she called. "I'd advise that you try not to get on her bad side. She doesn't look it but if you get her mad enough she will not hesitate to kill you,"
Koga just stood there and gave the female dog demon a dazzed nod. 'She's scary that's for sure...It's kinda attractive in a way.' the wolf demon thought, watching as they all walk out of sight.
"Koga!" Ginta and Hakkaku called as they run towards their leader.
"So you two finally catch up to me," Koga said, stilling looking towards the direction she once was.
"Koga, are you okay?" Ginta asked, both him and Hakkaku looking at koga worriedly.
"Yeah....," the wolf demon leader trailed. He then turned towards them. "Let's go," he said before running off.
"Wait up Koga!" Hakkaku and Ginta yelled as they tried to catch up to their leader.
