Chapter 12

Levi's P.O.V.

When he said my name I couldn't help but smile. Hearing his voice, as cracked and broken as it was, made me happy...

Happy....

I was happy. Seeing him made me happy. He gave me a weak smile. I held him close to me as the officer tapped my shoulder. I turned around.

"The boy in question....we have him in custody. He'll be in jail in no time for a long time. Now we'll get you two to a hospital. "

"Thank you. Did you hear that Eren? We can go home soon." When I looked at him he had a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "And this time...ill keep my promise."

"....can you promise to keep you promise? Can you pinky swear?"

I linked our pinky fingers together and squeezed. "I promise."

Tears fell down his cheeks and he smiled that sweet smile. "I forgive you."

"We need to get him to the hospital." The officer said as he looked at Eren.

I saw that he was naked and covers him with my sweater. "Yes we should...Eren...we'll be home soon."

"Home...." He smiled...."Yes...home sounds nice."

When we got to the hospital Eren started to looked nervous. I saw this and pulled him into me.

"You're gonna be okay."

"I....I know..." He bit his lip and twirled his thumbs around. "It's just that....I'm worried. "

"No shit. But it'll be okay."

Suddenly Carla and Kenny burst into the room.

As soon as Eren saw his mom he started to cry. "MOMMY!" He threw his arms around her and sobbed into her chest. "Mommy...mommy...."

"I'm here my angel...right here...."

"I missed you mommy..."

Kenny looked at me and gave me a nod of approval. "Good job."

It took a couple hours but we were all finally home. The exam was rough for him he cried all the way through it. But luckily...he's 5 months pregnant and the baby is healthy. He's been prescribed antibiotics and prenatal vitamins along with a diet he's to stay on.

I helped him inside and walked him into the bathroom.

"It's been so long since I last showered..."

I smiles softly. "Well I'll clean you up. If there's anything you don't want me to do let me know."

"Okay."

I started the shower and had him sit on the little chair so I could clean him up. As the water ran down his back I could see his hands rub his belly.

"Did they tell you what the gender is?"  He nodded. "So you're gonna keep the baby?"

His eyes looked down for some time and then he turned to look at me. "It's not the babies fault...its here for a purpose...and...he deserves a chance..."

"It's a boy?"

"Yeah....im trying to think of names...vould you help me?"

"Of course I'd love too!"

He smiled and I gently began to scrub his skin clean. I made sure to be really gently with his belly and his private parts. After he was scrubbed clean, I helped him into the tub to soak.

"I'll be right back okay? I'm gonna get you some clothes." He gave me a nod and played in the water for a bit.

I saw Carla in the hall. "Oh hey, I just bathed him so he's soaking right now. Is the food ready?"

"Yep all his favorites."

"Perfect he'll love it."

"And Levi....doing this....is something he'll appreciate."

"I'm glad."

I went into our room and shifted through his clothes. Blue boxers...should I give him a sweater? It is getting cold out with the seasons changing and all...i have a few bigger ones. He can have it. And...these sweatpants should do. 
I walked back into the bathroom. He was still sitting there, I watched as he rubbed his belly.

"We're home now Baby....we're safe. We won't get hurt anymore."

I pretended not to hear as I knocked and stepped in.

"Ready to come out?"

"Mhm."

I helped him out and dried him off. "It's fall now...so it's getting pretty cold."

"I was gone that long huh...so um...you and your..."

"Broke up with her months ago."

He looked at me. "Oh....really?"

"Mhm. So that means I'm free to date you."

"D-Date me?! But I'm....im used...why...?"

"Eren...I was stupid to think that some bimbo would make me happy...I was blind of the perfect person right in front of me...I spent months feeling empty. I lost my happiness when you left...and now you're back."

"But....his....I'm carrying his baby....its not....I'm..."

"Stop right there. I love you Eren...I'll give you time to think it over, of course. But...if you say yes...I'll treat this baby...as if it were my own."

" I don't want to think it over...I'll be yours...Please take care of me from now on...me...and my baby."

"Of course I will." I held him close being careful not to hurt his belly.

After getting him dressed and combing his hair, I kisses him on the cheek. "Now let's get you something to  eat."

Walking down the stairs was difficult it seems...he could see his feet so it hard to step down and down. When we finally reached he sighed softly.  Seeing the food brought a smile to his face as he say down and ate his fill.

"You have sauce on your face silly." I wiped it off and he giggled softly.

"Thank you."

"So Eren," Kenny looked at him. "Can we know the gender? We need to buy clothes and toys."

"I'm so excited! Another baby!"

A smile spread across his face and a sparkle lit up his eyes. "A boy...i don't know what to name him though..." I pouted at the reminder.

I pursed my lips together. "Yukine..... and as a sub name...Yuki?"

Everyone looked at me

"That's...perfect..." Eren smiles widely at me and threw himself at me. "Oops forgot I have a belly." He kissed me on the cheek and giggled. "I love it."

"It is a good name." Carla commented and Kenny gave a nod of approval.

"All of you really like it?"

"Yes!" They all said at the same time.

I felt a smile slip into my face and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well then...how about little guy?" I rubbed Eren's belly gently and then kissed it. I felt something press against my face...

"D-Did....he kick?!" He looked so happy....

"Yes...i think he did."

That smile....the one I love... I want to keep it there...for as long as I can...
