Forever

Chapter 6

Tears start to form in my eyes. I sit on the couch staring at the black tv screen. My mouth is open but I can't close it. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. "Selena what happened?" Taylor asks as she runs over to me. I feel like I've just been slapped hard in the face. She sits beside me and hugs me tightly. "He left..." I say between sobs. "You'd think you'd learn a lesson after being left once" she says to me. How is that supposed to make me feel better I think to myself. "Later on tonight we are going to go out to the club and have some fun so you can forget about him" she says as she stands. As soon as she disappears into the kitchen, Harry comes walking down the stairs. He comes and sits next to me on the couch. "Hey Selena, shhhh don't cry it's okay... he'll be back trust me he just needs some time to think about all that's happening right now... trust me everyone goes through hard times, he'll come around" he says in a soft, soothing voice. As the words leave his mouth they make me want to cry more. I just hug him back. Taylor walks back in with 2 cups of tea. Harry gets up and says "I'll leave you ladies to it" and he goes back upstairs. "Want to go shopping" Taylor asks. "What does it look like" I say a little annoyed. "Not for us, for them" she says as she looks at my stomach. I take a sip of my tea and then rub my hands over my stomach. "But I don't know the sex of them yet" I say wiping the remaining tears from my eyes. "That's fine we're just looking to see if you can find something you like and if you do just go back and buy it when you know the sex of the babies" she says giving me a weak but hopeful smile. 

"Okay come on" I say rising from the couch. She jumps off the couch with joy and claps her hands. "Let me change and we can go" she says. She runs up stairs as if her life depends on it and I follow, going to the bathroom to clean my face. I apply some makeup and wipe my eyes and so that it doesen't look like I've been crying. I go into my room and put on a pink shirt from Abercrombie and Fitch with skin tight turquoise pants and baby blue ankle high boots. I straighten my hair and I hear Taylor coming down the hallway. "Ready?" she asks excitedly. I let out a heavy sigh and say "yes". "Come on cheer up, the quicker you forget about him the quicker you can have fun and live" she says walking over to me. "Easy for you to say when your not having not one but two kids by your boyfriend" I say a little irritated. "Whatever let's just go and see what we can find" she says". We leave the house but then I see that Harry has on black pants with a skully and matching shoes and a shirt. "I'm going to join you if you don't mind" he says looking as cute as ever. 

We all get into his pimped out all black Chevy Tahoe with black rims and all black tinted windows. Harry is driving, Taylor is in the passenger seat and I'm sitting in the back by myself. We pull up outside of Zulily's which is a baby store I've never heard of but I guess Taylor knows what stores to shop at. "We're here!" she says beaming at me then gets out of the car. When we walk in the walls are painted with blue and pink stripes, there are baby cribs of all colors, sorts, and sizes, baby walkers, strollers and a bunch of other items that I have never seen before. "Well I'll be in the car waiting for you guys" Harry says as he turns around and walks outside. "Oh no you don't" Taylor says and she walks over to him before he can reach the door. He sighs heavily and playfully looks upset. "Come on stop being such a baby" Taylor says and then the hugest grin spreads across her face. She's staring at me as if she is waiting for me to do something. "What?" I ask confused. She takes a deep breath. Tell me Taylor!! I scream in my mind. "I'm also Pregnant!" she says. I see Harry and he looks a little nervous but happy. I smile not knowing what else to do. "When did you find out?" I ask a little taken back. "Just 2 days before you found out that you were also pregnant" she says still smiling. I look over at Harry and all he can do is smile. "Why didn't you tell me when you found out?" I ask. "Because I wanted to tell everyone but we couldn't get everyone together and now feels like the perfect time" she says. "How about you Harry... How are you feeling?" I ask. He turns a little red and I know that we're all to young to be having kids at this age but we can't do anything about it. "I'm excited... I really want to know if the baby's a boy or a girl" he says. "If only Justin were as passionate" I say and Taylor smiles at him and gives him a light kiss on his lips.
