Chapter 4

I wake up and sunlight is filling the room making me squint. Justin's leg is over both of mine. I move trying not to wake him up. As soon as I'm out of the bed he is looking up at me with a smile on his face."Sorry I was trying not to wake you" I say smiling. He stretches and says "It's okay". I go to he bathroom so I can brush my teeth and wash my face. As I'm washing Justin comes in and stares at me in the mirror. "What?" I ask as if I did something wrong. "You are so beautiful" he says and he walks over to me and gives me a kiss then he brushes his teeth and washes his face. I go back into the room and check my phone.

*Coming over there right now to pick you u up... We r going to the mall!!

What? When did she decide this? I think to myself. Whatever I know I'm going to lose a battle with her. I put on a turquoise t-shirt and black tights. "Going somewhere?" Justin asks as he walks out toward me. "Yes with Taylor to the mall" I say playfully pouting. He takes my head in his hands and makes me look at him in the eyes. "Don't worry it won't be that bad" he says and he kisses me. "Besides I won't be here for a while I'm going to the studio for a while". Of course you are when aren't your there. I sigh "Okay" I finally say and then we hear a knock.

I walk out of our room and into the living room and open the door to see Taylor with smiling and for some reason all dressed up. I chuckle "Should I change because your all dressed up for something?" I ask looking at her. She's wearing a strapless royal blue dress that stops at her knees with navy blue pumps. "No your fine I don't even know why I wore this " she says laughing. "Well come in, let me say bye to Justin and we can go " I say and usher her in. "Okay" she says, walking in and sitting on the couch. I run upstairs and see Justin standing in the mirror all cute and fresh with his all white on. "Wow today must be special" I say and kiss him. "I'm leaving with Taylor now I'll be home later". He kisses me again and says bye. I walk back to the living room. "Come on I'm ready". "Finally" she says. "What do you mean finally I was already ready I just had to say bye" I say. "Trust me if it were Harry you probably wouldn't even be ready until like 30 minutes later". "Well I mean...... I can't deny that" she says and we both start laughing.

We walk outside to Harry's car I'm guessing. "Is this your car?" I ask shocked. It looks kind of sporty and guyish. "Nope Harry's" she says. It's a cherry red Mazarati. We get in the car and when she starts the car the engine roars to life and it makes me jump a little. Taylor laughs and says "Don't worry you'll get used to it". She backs out of the drive way and head towards the mall. "So how are you and Harry?" I ask to make conversation. This car ride feels like forever. "We're good.... Really good" she says under her breath and I burst out in laughter."What about you and Justin huh?" She asks still smiling. "Good... Awesome.... Perfect" I say and I look over at her. Then I start to feel a little nauseas. "Whoah Taylor can you pull over my stomach hurts and it feels like I'm about to throw up" I say holding my hand over my mouth. She pulls over immediately and I get out and throw up. I don't even know why, I haven't even eaten anything this morning. "Selena are you Okay?" she asks as she runs over to me and puts her hand on my back. "Yeah I'm fine I think I just ate something bad" I say trying not to worry her. What's wrong... I didn't eat anything bad, I don't have a stomach virus or anything. Then it hits me. "Oh no no no no no no!!!" I scream out loud without even knowing it. "What's wrong?" Taylor asks looking really concerned. It can't be I think to myself. Suddenly my eyes are clouding with tears. "I- I think I'm pregnant" I say stifling a sob. She walks over to me and hugs me. "Are you okay?". "Yeah I'm fine thanks" I say.

"Want to go to the doctor to be sure... We can go to the mall another time" Taylor says. "No it's fine... I'll go to the doctor later" I say looking at my hands. I get up and we both get back in the car and start toward the mall again. We finally arrive at the mall but all I can think about is me being pregnant. Well maybe I'm not. I repeat this over and over and hope that it makes me feel better but it doesn't. We walk to the mall in silence and the first store Taylor goes in is Victoria's secret. I chuckle and try to take my mind off of the whole baby situation. She walks over to the lingerie section and I start laughing. I raise an eyebrow "Really Taylor?" I ask as she starts to search. She laughs and says "yes gotta look sexy sometimes". I smile and role my eyes and walk around the store until she's ready to go leaving with nothing. "Well that was a complete waste of my time" she says and we walk around the mall until our feet start to hurt and we finally leave. "You want to go to the doctor now?" She reminds me and my heart falls to the floor. I had forgotten about that. "Yeah" I say. We drive in silence to the hospital. "Hi" I say "I'm here to take a pregnancy test" I tell the nurse and she looks up from her computer to me. "Okay I just need you to fill out these papers quickly and I'll see to it that you get a wonderful doctor" she says with a sincere smile. "Thank you" I say and me and Taylor walk over to the waiting room.

It takes me about 20 minutes to fill out the papers and I return them to the nurse. "Thank you sweetie now if you'll just have a seat... the doctor will be with you shortly". We sit and wait for all of 30 minutes and a nice looking doctor with broad shoulders and blonde hair calls my name. "That's me" I say as I get up and walk in. He holds out his hand to me "My name is Johnny" he says and flashes a smile. "I'm Selena" I say returning his smile "and this is my friend Taylor". He shakes her hand and he leads me to a room that is a little to spacious. "If you sit here please we can get started" he says pointing to a chair that has all these wires and stuff connected to it. My breath starts to quicken. Taylor holds my hand "everything is going to be fine" she says and she hugs me. The doctor puts on some gloves and then takes out this long needle and starts applying a clear cream to it. My face ashes at the near sight of the needle. The doctor chuckles "don't worry it won't hurt to badly" he says. "Are you ready now?" he asks raising his eyebrow. I shake my head slowly and say yes. He inserts the needle and I let out a low painful sound but as he said it doesn't hurt to badly. But it feels nasty and it's really cold. It takes a couple seconds before the doctor finally speaks. "There" he says as he points to the screen. I see nothing but two little circle things. "You're having twins" he says as he looks at me as if he's shocked. My lips feel like they are glued together. My heart skips a beat and it feels like the whole universe has stopped. Taylor takes my hand in hers "It's going to be okay we will help you" she says with sympathy in her eyes. After what feels like eternity I nod my head. "In about 15 to 17 weeks we will be able to tell you the gender of the babies" he says in a business like voice. "Okay thank you" I say and he takes the needle out and I put my tights back on. We leave the hospital and I don't know how to feel at this point.... We're going to be parents. I'm not ready for that! I think to myself. I can feel myself going red. I feel a hand on my shoulder "Are you okay?" Taylor asks. I let out a deep sigh and say "Yes I'm fine". "Okay come on let me take you back home" she says and we walk to the parking lot.

The drive back home is quiet. I glance over at Taylor but she looks deep in thought. I look back at the road and lay my head on the head rest. before I know it we are pulling into the driveway and I see a creamy white Cadillac parked in our driveway. Well it's not Justin's truck I think to myself. It must be one of his friends. I shrug and get out, there's just to much for me to deal with right now. I walk up and unlock the door. My mouth drops open and tears start to form in my eyes. "Justin" I say, barely whispering. He's on the couch kissing some blonde girl. Then it hits me, that's the bitch he was looking at on Instagram!
