"No! Chat!" Ladybug screamed. They were fighting an akuma and chat was just hit in the chest with something the akuma threw at him. It looked like a ball of energy but she wasn't sure what it did, Chat was the only thing hit by the akuma. After being hit chat stumbled. "Chat! Are you okay?" Ladybug called to her partner. He looked up at her and nodded before returning to the fight. After the fight was over ladybug purified the akuma. "Pound it!" She said, but chat wasn't paying attention. He was looking down and he had a funny look on his face that worried Marinette. "Chat? ...Are you okay" He nodded once again. "Yeah, I'll be fine." He replied to ladybug, but his eyes didn't really move from the ground. Still worried about him Marinette asked, "Are you sure? Because chat, if you need anything at all, I will help you out. " Chat looked up now and smiled at ladybug. "It's nice to know you care m'lady, but I'm fine now. I just got the wind knocked out of me." Ladybug chuckled at him. "Okay if you need anything just let me--" Just then ladybug's miraculous beeped "I've got to go chat." He sighed and began to protest. "please m'lady, I promise I won't tell anyone." Ladybug thought for a moment but when her miraculous beeped again she declined him. Once again. Chat watched as she jumped across the rooftops. Disappointed, chat made his way home. He was using his staff, high in the air his staff slipped from his hands. No matter how hard he gripped his staff he kept slipping. closer and closer the ground came. Chat closed his eyes and prepared for impact, not sure what else he could do to save himself.
