For days chat was missing he didn't show up for akuma attacks or patrol. And for days chat would come after school and watch Marinette. She came home one day, she opened the trapdoor for fresh air and started her homework like any other day. When she tried to do her homework all she could think of was chat. Is he coming back...or is he gone? I just wish I could have told him...hes my best friend, I love him, I wish I wouldn't have rejected him all those times. Marinette started crying at her desk face down, thinking the boy she loved was gone. A few minutes later chat plopped down on her bed like any other day but he saw her crying. He wished he could ask her what was wrong, talk to her, comfort the girl he loved. But he couldn't even do that. He slid off the bed and walked over to her. He knew it wouldn't make any difference to her but he put his hand on her shoulder and whispered, "it's okay princess." To his surprise she jerked up. "CHAT!" She smiled and threw her arms around him. I thought you left. She sobbed into his shoulder. It was then he realized she was crying for him. He was full of questions and so was she so she pulled away from the hug and asked him. "Where have you been? You have missed patrol and all the akuma attacks. You haven't even let ladybug know where you went." Marinette tried to stop her crying but she was still so worked up. "Chat-- I thought you were gone." She hugged him again tightly and let him go "I...I haven't been gone. You just couldn't see me. Nobody could." When he saw the confusion on her face he explained. "After my last fight with ladybug" he said. "Something hit me and I turned... invisible. It sounds crazy but you just have to believe me. It really happened, if I would talk nobody could hear me. I would touch you but you couldn't feel it. I couldn't move anything, open doors, nothing." Marinette felt bad for him. "That sounds awful, but why did you come here? Why not go to your family? Or ladybug?" I did go to ladybug..  he thought  "well...I don't know. I just kind of ended up here one night, you closed the door so I was stuck inside here and I have been staying here every night. I think even if I tried going home I wouldn't be able to get in and if I could I would be stuck inside for a while." Marinette thought for a minute. "Oh." Then chat spoke up again. "I don't know why you can see me....maybe I'm not invisible anymore!" Chat ran to the trapdoor that leads to the roof. He pushed on it but it wouldn't budge. He walked to Marinette's desk and tried to pick up her backpack but he couldn't. "Woah." Marinette watched him. "You literally can't move anything." Chat shook his head then walked to Marinette. "You can feel this?" He asked touching her arm. "Yes" she nodded. Then he picked her up bridal style. "Well I couldn't do that before." He laughed. "You tried!?" Marinette asked and giggled. "Of course you did." He put Marinette down smiling and then her mom walked in. Chat had no time to hide. "Marinette time for dinner." And she left. Chat sighed and Marinette saw the disappointment on his face. "She can't see me. So it's just you....well so far. Good thing I came here I guess." Chat laughed once again, glad at least one person could see him. "I better go." Marinette told him. "Will you be okay here? Want me to open the door?" Chat nodded. "Sure" Marinette walked over and opened the trapdoor. "I will be back in a few minutes. Are you hungry?" Chat nodded wildly. "Yes, I have not eaten for a few days!" I have also been stuck in this suit for a few days. He thought Chat tried again to change back to adrien but nothing happened. Nothing made any sense. Marinette is the only person who can see me. But why?
