When Chat woke up he looked around and seen Marinette. She was sitting at her desk drawing something. She heard him moving and turned around. "Chat! How are you feeling?" Marinette asked. She got up and sat next to him. "I'm fine," he said sitting up. "What time is it?" Marinette sighed "It's 1:00 in the afternoon, Chat." He yawned and rubbed his eyes. "So I've been asleep all day, huh?" Chat said with a goofy smile, but his smile went away when he seen the worry in her eyes. "No chat, it's Saturday. You have been asleep since Thursday." Chat was shocked, "Saturday?" He asked. When he saw Marinette looked really worried about him, he tried to make her feel better. "That's my whole weekend! All gone! I had all these plans..." Chat teased, thinking he'd make his princess laugh. Instead he did the opposite, Marinette was about to cry. She was trying to hold her tears back but her attempt failed. "Hey, princess don't cry. What's wrong?" Through her sobs she tried to talk. "Chat, I--i was.. so worried a-about you." He pulled her close and hugged Marinette tight. "It's okay now. I'm fine." He whispered to her. When she stopped crying she pulled away and smiled, wiping her tears away. "We should find out how to get you back to normal, and then you have to see a doctor, Chat." He nodded at her but still had no idea what to do. They sat on her bed for a while both list in thought. "Master fu!" Marinette exclamed without thinking. Oh no. Marinette isn't supposed to know who master fu is. Only ladybug and chat noir. "What!" Chat said. "How do you know--" but he was interrupted by Tikki flying out. "He's right! Marinette we never thought about that." A....a kwami? Adrien wondered but then he saw Marinette's earrings. She is ladybug ! "Tikki!" Marinette yelled "What are you doing?!"
"I'm sorry Marinette but he's your partner, you can trust him. And he needed to find out anyway" Tikki explained. "I have to take you to master fu and he would have to come too." Marinette sighed, she knew Tikki was right. She looked to chat, his eyes were wide open. "You.. your.. her.. how.. but.. what!" Chat was confused and babbling trying to figure this out. "I'm sorry chat" Marinette finally spoke up. "I'm sorry you found out like this and I'm sorry if I'm not who you want me to be. I know you like ladybug, so I just hope I'm not a disappointment to you--" Chat cut her off. "Stop it." His tone sounded strict, like he was ordering her. "Don't you dare. Don't do that." Now it was Marinette that was confused "Wha-- Chat... I..I'm sorry." Her vision went blurry from tears and she looked at the ground. Just then Chat pulled her close into a hug. "Marinette, do not ever act like you are some disappointment. Got it? I'm not disappointed in you. I'm absolutely thrilled, my lady, and my princess..." He said holding he at arm's length. "The two people..." He said, tilting her chin so she was looking into his eyes. "That I love. They are the same people." Then a tear rolled down her cheek. "I love you too chat!" She exclaimed, hugging him tight again. After a few minutes Marinette pulled away from the embrace, even though neither wanted to let go. "So should we go see master fu?" She asked. When he nodded, Marinette stood up and remembered her parents downstairs. "We will have to go out the window, chat do you think you are okay?" He nodded, and was actually telling the truth. It must have been because he was sleeping so long, but he felt wide awake and had plenty of strength and excitement. "Okay." Marinette said "I can't go as ladybug, because Tikki has to lead us to master fu." Chat nodded, "that's fine, I will follow you M'lady. No one will suspect anything." He winked at her. She rolled her eyes at him and then remembered, "I can't just jump off the roof..." She looked up at chat who knew exactly what he had to do. While he was climbing onto the balcony he asked, "So.. why cant we just go out the front door?" Marinette jumped through the trapdoor and brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "Well.." She said, and began to blush wildly. She stalled by walking to the edge of the balcony, looking down on the street. "On Thursday, when you passed out on the way to my house... Ladybug brought you back to my house, and I told my mom I felt sick, so she let me stay home. She still thinks I'm sick."
"Why did you keep up the act over the weekend? You didnt have to go to school." He said moving to stand next to her on the balcony. "Uh-umm Well..." She looked very nervous now. "If I kept up the act I could spend most of my time in my room, with you." She was looking into his eyes now
